We run on Wednesday nights starting at 8.10pm, with a 20min late registration period on top of this. All games are played in the PokerStars Home Games PL Poker Club. The first two legs are NLHE, then for a bit of variety we have a PLO leg in week 3, reverting back to NLHE for the final leg. > Leg 1 : Wednesday 7th October at 20.10 BST in the PL Poker Club Home Game. > Leg 2 : 14th October > Leg 3 : 21st October - PLO Leg > Leg 4 : 28th October at 20.10 GMT (UK clocks gone back 1 hour) - double entrants in formula ** Buy in is $5.50 per leg. Your top 3 scores of the 4 legs will count towards your league total. We will be using the usual PL poker league format, which will be updated in this thread. (The PokerStars own league scores will not be used.) Formula is -Log(position/Entrants)x100 To help boost numbers overall and in particular in the final leg we are continuing the system of doubling the number of entries used in the calculation in leg 4 (**so if 10 entries the formula will use 20 entrants). This will increase the number of points available in the final leg to make it more competitive. All members are welcome, however you must post in this thread if asked to let us know your forum username, otherwise your placings and scores cannot be included in the league. New players are always welcome to join in, so please spread the word and invite your friends so we can keep the weekly numbers up. £150 Added Value The £150 added will be split between the top 3 players of the league end, with £75 to the league champion, £45 to 2nd and £30 to 3rd. This will be payable via PayPal at the end of the league. Big thank you to SirPuntalot and Punters Lounge for the added funds. The league winner will also get Punters Lounge merchandise. Well done to Dan on the win with Ian in 2nd place Nice to see McG back and able to play via the ipad. Need to know who trevrepami is please, if you would post to show who you are on PL. ( @teaulc, any clues from when you accepted onto the club?) Next leg is set up and registering. There was some discussion at the table of how the 'fun week' bounty game was enjoyable last week and added another dimension and we were wondering about adding a bounty game into the schedule, as leg 2 (not this month). Interested to get views from more players. It would probably be a standard bounty rather than a progressive one (so 50% buy in is everyone's bounty and the rest is prize pool). This would give us a different game/structure for each leg - NLHE 3000 chip; NLHE bounty 3000 chip; PLO 5000 chip; NLHE 5000 chip. Any one of the top 6 in tonight's leg could have made it on to the podium and in the end just over 50 points separated the top 5 in the league. The power of the final leg points muliplier came into play with a win tonight for thebestthere lifting them into the podium positions in 3rd . Ian309 completed a solid month of finishes to take the runner up league position and muttley's excellent month of top finishes continued and makes him our league champion Great turnout all month, thank you to everyone who came along and played. Next month we're going to try something different in leg 2 with a bounty game (only positions will count towards the league, bounties are the fun bonus). Hope you'll all give it a try.
