I keep an eye on the thread out of interest but the truth of it is that I don't really have time to follow other people's selections given the time expended on studying, placing, recording and analysing my own bets, much like yourself I imagine. There's also a limit to how many bets one wants to be having. There's a certain degree of us all busily ploughing our own furrow with these threads; even when things are going spectacularly well it can go unnoticed or at least uncommented on. This left us 68 pts profit for June, and more than recovers for the recent run. Year to date profit is now 30.6 pts. Profit since I started the thread now comes to 80.5 units (from 4th August 2020 to 30th June 2021). As I noted above this doesn't suddenly mean I'm a genius, in the same vein as a poorer run of results wise doesn't mean I'm a chancer. It does mean that if you want to be the 1% of people that make money at gambling you need to have a stake relative to your bank that can suffer longer losing runs, you need to be consistent with that stake and you need to realise this is a long term systematic project. Chasing loses, drastically changing methods (methods can be tweeked but the underlying rules shouldn't need to be), being inconsistent with selections all mean that you are much more likely to be in the 99% than the 1%.
