A. Cazaux/H. Mayot 6.90 Pinnacle 4/10

Kubot and Melo were looking horrendous in Hamburg last week and they faced pretty average team Moraing/Hanfmann (both not great in doubles) and then Peers/Venus battered them in like 30 minutes. Kubot/Melo won like ~ 40 % of their points on serve which is ridiculous for doubles matchplay. They didn't look much better in New York losing Johnson/Krajicek and Vliegen/Gille.

Cazaux/Mayot is a dangerous upcoming doubles team of prospects. They played together twice on Pro level and despite losing both matches in 2020 they were looking decent for one set against world class team like Mahut/Pospisil (even a break up there 3-1 in the first set). Both also played together on Junior level reaching the Quarterfinals at the 2020 Australian Open, 2019 US Open, 2019 French Open. They played together as Juniors and had some great success together so i assume they should be well adapted to each other on court.

This is definitely more a fade of Kubot and Melo rather than a play on Cazaux and Mayot but i like them a lot on court so i guess i like it even more to bet on them and to fade Kubot/Melo at the same time.

Hello all, just a small in-play tip on Betfair. The ITF Czech Republic (Pardubice) tennis futures match Cerundulo - Sanchez Izquerdo got suspended yesterday after the first set and is set to be continued today in problaby about 2 hours. Before the match the odds were about equal on both sides (1.8x range, and some had Sanchez Izquerdo a small favourite. Sanchez Izquerdo won the first set 7-5 and his odds dropped to around 1,22 - 1,30 range on the bookies. Apparently some people on Betfair dont know about this or think the match still has to start because right now some people are offering odds in the 1,6/ 1,7 range on Sanchez Izquerdo again. So way above his real odds. Not sure how much you can match, but if you do it should be at least good for a nice trade when the match will start again.

Tsvetana Pironkova to beat Barbora Krejcikova at 1.88 with Pinnacle

Pironkova might not be at her best on clay, but she's competent enough and this just looks like an overreaction to me. Krejcikova has done nothing of note apart from beating Strycova lately, but Strycova is poor these days and it was a derby as well. Pironkova, with a day off for training, should have every chance to beat the doubles-bound Krejcikova here.

Siniakova - Bertens: Siniakova to win at any betting site which gives you the win in case of a withdrawal:

I mean, I wouldn't even be surprised if Bertens withdraws before the match has started, but if she decides to play. Well, she won't have the time of her life. She was injured, exhausted, and the obvious lack of fittness is on the surface. She's in a horrible form, my honest opinion is that Errani is just a joke.

Siniakova is nothing special ( if you ask me), but for her to not to get a set, therefore to minimum get a 3 setter match - in which case the fatique comes in again. - this is all Siniakova to the next round. I am disrupting my max 5% bet, this is a 10% again.

Halep - Anisimova : I actually believe Halep is out in this round. But I am recommending +5.5 Anisimova 1.80 at bet365.  I've been following Halep since the start of her early early rise. Damn, I hardly remember a match where she washed the floor with such an uncomfortable opponent as Anisimova is.(Many romanian friends of mine call her the 2-1 specialist, meaning that she cannot close some matches in 2-0, which she should've) I watched Halep's last 8 matches, she did not convince me in either of them. She has her constant good level, but not the Halep we all praise and love.

Anisimova had some good matches overall, she has the firearms to get a set in this match, moreover to win this match. I actually found her serve absolutely awesome these rounds. She covers this handicap all day.

What do you think of Simona Halep winning the French Open. She is certainly the best player left in the womens draw

She certainly is!

At this point though, I wouldn't get surprised if Bouchard wins it. LOL

On a real note, I can see Anisimova or Muguruza win it. I wouldn't put a single dollar on it tho. ( Ok maybe 1 : ) )

Fucsovics - Monteiro:

Fucsovics is a constant guy. He has played a great tennis overall in his career, and he is playing a great tennis in the last months. Actually the match between him and Medvedev didn't prove anything to me. I expected a solid solid match from Fucsovics, I just think Medvedev is hella stupid when he has one of those days. I liked Fucsovics very much against Ramos though.

Monteiro? Also a decent player. In a good form too, I wouldn't consider him any special, besides the fact that he fights for every point like for his life.

What makes me think this will be a Fucsovics win? Simply the fact, that there's a whole class difference between the two, Fucsovics proved several times that he can deal with these clayist hitters, I don't see him having huge huge problems with Monteiro in a bo5. Marton to win 1.45 at Unibet

Zverev - Cecchinato

I just cannot go past this match once again. As much as I love Zverev, he's just not there yet.

Cecchinato? This form is the Cecchinato that won Buenos Aires, and won several other clay tourneys. Over 3.5 sets all day.  1.57 - with Bet365 (0-3 Cecchinato???? hope not)

Hi everyone.

Was following the forum for quite some time lately and grateful for sharing your tips. That has contributed to my pot for sure. So, decided to get involved time to time and share as well.

You know, history tends to repeat itself. So, I am up for the Halep-Ostapenko final this year. That would be an exciting one.:)

Jokes aside, I think Ostapenko is back to her best on clay now. She was training really hard and preparing for this tournament. On top of that she got a boyfriend quite recently and that made her less bad-tempered and goal oriented. It also seems that current conditions suit her game very well.

Badosa - Ostapenko

Given the motivation Jelena has and suitable conditions, I believe she can maintain unforced errors to a sufficient level to win. Honestly, I dont see that Badosa has enough weapon to challenge Ostapenko. She won previous game only because Stephens plays quite badly these days. Ostapenko to win in straight sets. 2.00 at Unibet

I have a very good feeling that this here will get a lot of people sucked in especially now that Siniakova is becoming somewhat of a public bet. Did Errani not say in her interview that Kiki was still loaded with stealth energy? I think Bertens rediscovers beast mode and finds a way to win this.

Ruud to win at least one set @1.8 with bet365

Don't think reasoning is needed on this one. Ruud is such a good player on clay courts these days. It's hard to imagine Thiem prevailing in straight sets today. I wouldn't be surprised if the Norwegian pulls an upset as well.

Lol just saw the scoreline... What happened? So disappointing from Ruud.

Jelena Ostapenko to beat Paula Badosa Gibert at 1.43 with Pinnacle

Really the only thing that I like for tomorrow. Ostapenko has proven her class recently, Badosa has had some out-of-form opposition. Not much to be added, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Ostapenko scoring another shock GS win, her game is still there when she's on.

This was a great vision!

Bautista to win

Zhang to win

Good luck

I missed out on Korda, Garcia, Bertens  and Podoroska today.  At the same time I was missed out on Coria and missed betting big on Fritz.  Overall I'm gutted because Korda, Garcia and Bertens were good prices.
