Well despite the exceptional ability of the horse, I think that it was very brave of you to risk £250 to get back £10.  This means that you will have to be right 125 times out of 126 in order to break even.  Too hot for me 👀

It's actually 25 out of 26 not 125 out of 126.

IMO
The definition of a good punter is one that starts with 100 and tries to win 10
The definition of a bad punter is one that starts with 10 and expects to win 100
The 'Tortoise and the Hare' springs to mind
