Guys and Gals

I'm away for a couple of days, viewing a property would you believe!!

Unlikely to get decent internet to get the results and do the spreadsheet.

No table on Thursday or Friday and i will catch up by Sat evening.

Apologies, speak soon.

Not very often I make a record, not one to brag about.

Still, I'd rather have a 1/25 winner than a 250/1 loser.

Well despite the exceptional ability of the horse, I think that it was very brave of you to risk £250 to get back £10.  This means that you will have to be right 125 times out of 126 in order to break even.  Too hot for me 👀

It's actually 25 out of 26 not 125 out of 126.

Over the last 5 years there have been 16 horses that have started at shorter than 1/20 and they have all won.

IMO
The definition of a good punter is one that starts with 100 and tries to win 10
The definition of a bad punter is one that starts with 10 and expects to win 100
The 'Tortoise and the Hare' springs to mind

So you only need the next 5 to win and you have a winning system😛

You could say it has been a winning system from day 1 with no losers. You would need the patience of Job though with about 3 selections a year.

Even 10 is a bit high. I make on average about 4%. Which, coincidentally, is the return from backing a 1/25 shot.
