The next round of Belgian First Division A matches and their odds are now available. Crazy to think that they're already into their third week of matches where as other European leagues aren't even thinking about restarting until mid-September. Let us know any bets you have down below. :ok

Sint-Truidense vs KV Oostende

The Belgian First Division A game we're covering this week might not be the most high profile game we've ever previewed but it is certainly one that offers us some value. It's Sint-Truidense versus KV Oostende in a 7:45pm BST kick-off on Monday night from the Stayen in Sint-Truiden. Neither side has had the best of starts to their 2020/21 campaign so a win here would be well received by both sets of fans.

Sint-Truidense have started their season with one win and one loss to leave them in 12th place. An opening weekend 2-1 home win over Gent was a cracking start but the 3-1 defeat away to Anderlecht was a dose of hard reality last week. A win in this game could see the club move up to 4th in the table. They have every reason to feel confident coming into this match. Manager Kevin Muscat leads his team into this one with the club boasting a record of winning every single one of their last 6 home league matches against Sint-Truidense.

KV Oostende couldn't have experienced much of a worse start to their league season than they have. Manager Alexander Blessin has witnessed his side lose both of their first two league games. The 2-1 defeat at home to Germinal Beerschot was a gut-wrenching loss on the opening weekend. That was then followed by a disappointing 1-0 defeat away to Charleroi. To be fair, that result was probably a bit more expected. The team is now only kept off the bottom of the league table by Gent's inferior goal difference. They come into this game having lost 13 of their last 14 away league matches including losing the last 12 in a row.

The away side have scored in 4 of their last 5 away league games with Sint-Truidense also conceding in all 4 of their last home league matches. That gives a hint that we might see some goals tonight. This is a home side that have generally been competent on their own patch playing against a KV Oostende team that has endured a slow start and are also notoriously bad travellers. I think a home win with both teams scoring is the sensible money.
