avongirl
Ok guys, I am back home after 2 weeks in hosp and will update the league table over this weekend once I feel up to getting my laptop going again. Apologies, it's not a shared document and is a bit of a dinosaur so unless I could get to it to send to someone it would be difficult for anyone to replicate. Thank you to those ever presents who have supported the league without reminders and posted the results. Whilst it shows me that posting a reminder, particularly on facebook, is worth the time spent, it also highlights that most people are not that bothered about the weekly game per se. I'm also sad that this thread developed into a bun fight. I will come back to the issues we need to address when I'm up to it. avongirl
We have a league table and it's all very tight with Barry and Gemic tying at the top for 1st place currently. But with the extra points on offer in the final week it's still a race on for the added value. The final game is set up already (thank you). It's back to NLHE and we have the same structure of 10 min blinds but this time an enhanced starting stack of 5000 chips. Will be interesting to compare how much longer this makes the game run. I won't be playing again this week so, as in the other games this month, we won't impose the late reg limit of 15mins that is requested in the opening post league rules. However I do intend to bring this (or definitely some time less than 1hr) in from next month when I am able to monitor it. ian309, Danshot and LIKE2FISH

Craggwood
I'm not sure but this might be the greatest and most improbable double for years. Leeds win the league and if its double bubble I might have won this. Good game Leo avongirl and LIKE2FISH 1
avongirl
Well done to Craggwood who makes it 2 wins on the trot and climbs up the league table to indeed take the league champions spot ? In actual fact you would have still won by 1pt without the enhanced points, but it has made a difference to the runner up positions. Leo climbs into 2nd spot (no wins but ultra consistent all month with 4 top 5 finishes) and our week 2 winner Rivrd holds on to 3rd spot by picking up some points even though being first out. Just goes to show it's always worth playing the final leg . Unfortunately both of the previous week's leaders have done a Notts Forest and picked up no additional points, surprisingly slipping out of the money spots. Thank you to everyone who played this month and persisted throughout the difficulties and to @Danshot for stepping in and setting up the games (I think, or whoever it was if it wasn't you!). Normal service should resume in August. In the meantime we normally fill the spare week with a $3 variant game (omaha, stud, draw, etc) for a bit of a change so if @Craggwood would like to pick one I'll set it up for next week Winners, see post below. Thank u for the information LIKE2FISH. 16:10 will be difficult, but maybe i will be able to make late registration. Yes, i think we have 3 timezones and this changes -1 or +1 hour when we have summer time zone (i don't know if i written correct).
