Yes, I think you're probably right I'd love to see racing and football back ...... but if I was a participant rather than a TV viewer I'd not be keen at all
Winning Heart
Horse Form: https://www.irace.com.sg/2020/05/18/free-irace-magazine-for-hong-kong-happy-valley-may-20/ Happy Valley Track Spy, May 20 Video Replay Stars Race 1 Number 2 HAPPY GOOD GUYS Was an impressive winner here three starts ago, drawing clear by 1 1/4 lengths over up-and-comer Ares (who is hard to beat later on the card in Race 5), before racing without much luck at two subsequent starts. Two starts ago, he raced tight over concluding stages in the straight and wasn’t properly tested, finishing 1 1/4 lengths into fourth, before completely bombing the start most recently as favourite when rearing and never really in it from there. He remains well drawn in barrier 2, has Moreira in the saddle and with a bit of luck looks the one to beat. Race 8 Number 2 GOLDEN DASH Looks on track to score a fourth career win after two promising runs back from a lengthy spell. First-up he checked home a sound second, before doing a lot of early work from barrier 12 at his second-up run, sitting second in running before fading late in the piece off a hectic early tempo where they clocked 8 lengths over par to the 400m. Coming into barrier 1 this week should ensure a far more economical run in transit, crucial over the sprint trips at Happy Valley and on the C+3 course. And with Purton replacing Poon in the saddle, that can also be considered a big tick. Sectional Time Stars Race 3 Number 10 SEIZE THE SPIRIT Returned the 4th fastest last 400m in his race at this track and distance 21 days ago, which had good merit to it given the jockey appeared in a state of confusion as to whether to shift in or out at the 300m, from where he was briefly held up before doing his best work inside the final 150m, checking home for a better-than-it-reads fourth. Vincent Ho takes over the reigns from Victor Wong this week. Race 4 Number 2 EXPLOSIVE WITNESS Still a maiden after seven starts but he returns to Happy Valley’s 1000m, where his best form currently stands with three thirds from five starts. And based on his fast finishing efforts in three prior runs here, he appears capable of surprising in the small field of nine.

Trotter
Bit more news on the position on France Cards from the main Paris tracks will be transferred to Deauvile on the Normandy coast starting with tomorrow's Longchamp card Deauville is designed to take a lot of racing as they race pretty much every day in August with many big races and group ones ......... French racing decamps to the seaside to escape Paris in the hottest month of the year. They also have an AW track. The two Guineas were run at Deauville when Longchamp was being reveloped in 2016 and 2017 Fontainbleu on Friday moves to Vichy Jumps racing at Compiegne on Friday moves to Dieppe So it looks like the bigger meetings will still go ahead but just at different places The Zoning system which has caused this hiatus is due to be reviewed in 2 weeks time

Trotter
Well done Striker, nice to see someone getting a winner in Hong Kong !? I've given up watching it on TV but I still listen to Talksport 2 for the racing chat between races Quite good today with chat about the relative positions in the UK, France and Ireland, interview with Ed Chamberlin about racing on TV in general and what the coverage might look like when we get back, interview with AP from the sister station earlier today, interview with trainer Rod Millman, interview with an Irish racing correspondant plus Lee Mackenzie in the studio explaining how the racing works for the general sports fans who might just be listening in The racing chats end at 2pm when the general sports news show starts and they just take the races from then with football chat inbetween Striker

Surprised you think John is a guesser given he worked out there for the past 3/4 years I would imagine he knows the racing very well. Cant understand why it was 2/1 with 365 , 15/8 with others , hammered into 8/11 sp
