betcatalog
You can't go against Marseille. Angers are high in the standings, but have weaknesses and logically will not be able to resist Velodrom. I expect Marseille to prevail OLYMPIQUE MARSEILLE vs ANGERS SCO @@ OLYMPIQUE MARSEILLE, odds 1.83 StevieDay1983

StevieDay1983
Nantes vs Bordeaux The Ligue 1 action has been frenetic so far this weekend and we'll be hoping the excitement continues with this game of Nantes versus Bordeaux that is scheduled to kick-off at 4pm GMT on Sunday afternoon at the La Beaujoire-Louis Fonteneau. The home side are knocking on the door of the European qualification spots whilst the visiting team need points to stay clear of the relegation drop zone. Nantes are enjoying quite a productive season under head coach Christian Gourcuff. It's been a campaign that has been based on the foundation of a solid defence. The top scorer Ludovic Blas has only grabbed 5 goals in the league. Only PSG and Reims have conceded less goals. It's a philosophy that has excelled at home with the club conceding just 7 goals on home turf this season. 3 wins from their last 4 league games including 3 clean sheets will give the players confidence heading into this one. Bordeaux sit in 15th place and just 8 points above the relegation zone. Head coach Paulo Sousa will be very concerned with his team's four straight defeats in the league. Since the impressive 6-0 win at home to Nimes on 3rd December, the club has only scored 0.50 goals per game. It's now also 5 away league games in a row without a win. You can see why the ELO ratings heavily back Nantes heading into this game. This is a simple case of seeing what's in front of us and taking the logical option. Nantes might not have the best home record in the league but their form is solid and they're up against a Bordeaux side that look a bit lost right now. I think we could see an archetypal defensive masterclass from Nantes against a team that won't pose them much threat coming forward. I'm backing Nantes to win but if you want to be braver and back them to keep a clean sheet then there's value in that too.
