Charon84
Getafe DNB @1.96 is a gift at the moment: Ajax will most likely play with second goalie Varela (Onana is suspended). If that's the case....well....just try to find videomaterial from the Utrecht (Y) - Ajax (Y) match yesterday (7-2, 3 big mistakes Varela). This guy can't be trusted. Ajax willl most likely miss important players like Veltman, Promes and Neres. Maybe Ziyech/Babel isn't also fit, but for now Ajax thinks they will be ready at time. Labyad also injured at this moment, but he isn't "important". In recent matches the injuries of Promes and Ziyech were truly felt. Far less danger from attacks. Getafe at home is very strong. They've lost just 5 in 35 matches (! 2x Barcelona, Basel, Real Madrid and Leganes). Getafe strong performance last week with 3-0 win over Valencia. Recent form also good. Maybe Ajax will get a point here, but it's far more likely they'll will go home with 0 points. StevieDay1983
Club Brugge vs Manchester United The Europa League action is back for the last 32 and we've got an early kick-off for our first preview of the week as Belgian side Club Brugge host Premier League team Manchester United in a 5:55pm GMT kick-off at the Jan Breydel Stadium. The home side qualified for this phase after finishing 3rd in their Champions League group. Can they get a first leg advantage over an away side that are experienced European campaigners? Club Brugge are enjoying a heck of a season so far. Philippe Clement's men are top of the Belgian First Division A with a huge gap between themselves and 2nd placed Gent. Their Champions League campaign didn't go as well as they would have wanted but it was far from a failure. The highlight being a 2-2 draw away to Real Madrid. A small issue that could hamper them is their lack of fire power with the club having only scored 4 goals in 6 group stage games in the Champions League. Even in domestic action, they've only managed 3 goals in their last 4 league games. Manchester United come into this game with hopes of Champions League football next season revitalised after Manchester City's 2-year ban from European football. The 2-0 win away to Chelsea on Monday night was also a welcome boost after the Red Devils had appeared to be going through a barren run. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is dealing with a number of absentees through injury including Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford but he'll still feel this is a game they should be looking to win having topped their group earlier in this competition. I mentioned in my preview of the Chelsea versus Manchester United game that United have a habit of pulling off results when you least expect it. OK, so VAR did help them to a degree on Monday but they proved it again. Solskjaer is somehow just keeping himself in the job. I think this is certainly a game they should be looking to win but I still think it'll probably be a bore draw. betcatalog
A very important show, which can give us strong emotions. The two clubs have been found in previous years and we had great results. I expect everything to come and we will have an open match with goals, final goal attempts and extra spectacle. I will stay away from the end result and bet on both teams to score OLYMPIACOS PIRAEUS vs ARSENAL FC @@ Both team to score, odds 1.60 If we compare the two teams to a roster we will see that the grand favorite is Wolves. The English have made a serious investment this year to keep the team at a high level both in the championship and in Europe. So far he is doing well and today he has a first-rate opportunity to score a point against Espanyol who is deeply concerned. The Spaniards have their minds on the battle for stay, as they share La Liga's last leg with the Legends. Europa is now in second place WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS vs RCD ESPANYOL BARCELONA @@ WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS, odds 1.55 StevieDay1983
StevieDay1983
Olympiakos vs Arsenal The second preview in this section for the last 32 of the Europa League first leg matches covers the potentially tricky tie between Greek Super League leaders Olympiakos and Premier League club Arsenal in an 8pm GMT kick-off at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus. It's a finely balanced game if you take a look at the odds. Is this going to be a big scalp for the home side or will the away side continue their revival under Mikel Arteta? Olympiakos lead the way on the domestic front and Pedro Martins has seen his team progress to this stage of the Europa League due to finishing 3rd in their Champions League group. This path was confirmed in their last game of the group phase when they beat Red Star Belgrade by a 1-0 score-line. Olympiakos have an awful record in the knockout stages of European football having only won 1 of their last 11. Arsenal are starting to look more improved under Arteta. Just 1 defeat in the league since his arrival back on 20th December and displays that are showing more fight have been optimistic. The Gunners are undefeated in their last 8 competitive matches. Qualification from their group was secured with relative ease but the business starts now. Arsenal have progressed from 11 of their last 12 knockout ties in this competition. These two sides have met a number of times in European competition. In fact, this will be the 9th meeting between the two clubs with Arsenal only facing Bayern Munich more times in European competition. None of the previous 8 encounters have ended in a draw so if the form book remains true then it should be a decisive game. Olympiakos have won 3 of their 4 home matches against the Gunners. I'm not sure they'll win this one. I want to back the draw but I've been doing that a lot lately so I'm going to have some faith in this new look Arsenal side of Arteta and back them to sneak the win.
