StevieDay1983
Sporting CP vs Porto One of the biggest games in Europe is taking place in the Portuguese Primeira Liga this weekend when Sporting CP host rivals Porto in a 5:30pm GMT kick-off at the Estadio Jose Alvalade this Sunday evening. The home side desperately need a win to stand any hope of catching their opponents for this game in the league table and the away side will want all 3 points to keep the pressure on league leaders Benfica. Sporting CP sit in 3rd place in the table on 26 points. The early pace setters Famalicao have dropped to 4th in the table so it's the usual suspects occupying the top spots. Manager Jorge Silas will feel his team can continue their fine home form that has seen them win their last 3 home league games including keeping clean sheets in the previous two home matches. Their away form has still been patchy but their performances at home have given their fans a lot to cheer about. Porto are still fighting for the title. Head coach Sergio Conceicao's men are 2nd in the table and they are only 4 points behind the top side Benfica before this weekend's games. One of the best defensive records in world football has helped them battle their way to this point with the club keeping 10 clean sheets in the league already this season. The downside is that they're not the most prolific team in front of goal. I'm not sure I can separate these two teams. Both sides are starting to play with confidence and Porto haven't lost since the opening day of the season. Then again, they've dropped all their points in the league away from home. They come to a Sporting CP side that are beginning to back themselves on home turf and both sides will feel they can win this but I think both sides would also be content with a draw. betcatalog
The hosts are great this year and are giving their games a crazy pace. In front of their audience they are profitable, but with the unpredictable Villarreal we will not look to a certain point. I think the match will be open and Over 2.5 has the first reason REAL SOCIEDAD vs CF VILLARREAL @@ +2.50 Over, odds 1.
