I didn't see it, but it wouldn't have made any difference to me if I did in terms of whether to back Troicki this season because I think he's done at the top level in singles. Last year he was terrible and I don't see where any improvement is going to come from this year now that he's a year older and definitely in the 'veteran' category. Klahn obviously isn't great either so I can see why the price on Troicki is attractive, but I think there are better bets out there for the first round so it's one to leave alone for me.

Guys what do you think of C.C. Bellis - Bouzkova tonight ? I remember I saw Bellis playing 2 years ago and was simply amazed with her style and shots (Sydney and Doha). Last year she completely dissapeared  (I`m not sure but I think she was injured). She made a sort of a comeback in Houston in 2019 and last week she lost to Pegula in straight sets. I know she used to be trained by Chris Evert but, as I said, I`m not sure what`s going on with her.

Bouzkova is quite solid on hard and my initial thought was to try an OVER in this match. More info more than welcome !

@ivanhoe Yes, she was injured, and the scoreline against Pegula reveals absolutely nothing. Both are big talents, Bouzkova a bit more match fit, so I reckon she's the correct favorite. I'm not sure if the odds are entirely correct, perhaps the balance should be a bit more even, but I didn't see Bellis against Pegula, she might've been pretty bad for all I know.

Andrey Rublev to beat Sam Querrey || 1.79 @ OLYBET ||

I feel bookies missed here,  despite Sam being a great server,  he is nowhere near onfire russian. And his game is far away from its best,  while Andrey moving up rankings and seems like his game rising with every single game. I believe that Andreys stamina will be key in this game,  because Sam isn't that consistant guy, especially at the start of the season and he needs more resting than lets say 22yy guy. Maybe i am wrong,  but this looks smwhere around 1.5 for Rublev.  GL

Mikael Ymer - Hubert Hurkacz || OVER 22 games || 1.71 @ OLYBET

Two young guns will meet here. Despite polish player being fav, i like Ymer,  he looked sharp in victory vs Tiafoe. He gave just one chance to Suisse to break. Looks like he hasn't sat the offseason and is prepare. Hubert probably will win here,  but i think it will be great match!  GL!

Damn this, I'm like Arsenal FC at the moment! Also, sorry @ivanhoe for possibly getting you out of a winning bet, even though it was from a match point.

Calum Puttergil (+6) to beat Steve Johnson at 1.96 Pinnacle

While Puttergil is no world beater, he is a local guy that's trying extremely hard and Johnson is hardly among the better returners out there, so I find this line a bit too high, especially after his very average effort in the first round. Puttergil, on the other hand, won as a 5.00+ underdog against Arevalo. Hopefully my luck changes on the Challengers, I don't want to be off to another -100pts run like in the past!

A pick for Australian Open Qual. match

WOLF-KOLAR 2:0 SETS @ 1.8 betfair sportsbook (look for -1.5 sets handicap bet) or 1.75 bet365

Wolf winning a Challenger tournament last week destroying 6 opponents. Played some great tennis. Finished 2019 by winning another Challenger so 11-0 record for him in his last 11 matches.

Viktor Troicki (+1.5 set) to beat Bradley Klahn || 1.82 @ OLYBET

Despite being very unpredictable player and probably his best times has passed,  he should be prepared for this one. He got great ATP cup run with Nole, and has some momentum right now. Bradley is a type of player that Viktor can if not win, but ar least take a set. That offers very juicy price. Even if Viktor isn't that player we all know, these type of games where you need to qualify for AO pressure comes on every point. SO pressure on Bradley!  GL! ?

I better keep away then so that I don't curse you! Good luck!

Couldn`t post sooner... I`ve taken over nonetheless and made a small profit. I think Beliss is the one to watch on AO especially if she`ll be fit enough which is difficult to expect because she didn`t play competitive matches last season. I`m not saying she`ll reach semi final or final but she might be a good bet in the first couple of rounds.

Thanks to fizrukas advice, I looked further in to Troicki’s form and determination for this tournament. Taking slso in concideration that he is “flying high” after Serbia’s ATP win, I decided to bet Troicki winning the match at 3.00 wit Bet365
I hope that after the rain continuation he completes that task. ?

Bet365 offered 2.91 to “cash now”, so I locked into the win. £291.00. No bad for the 1/2 hour work. Looking now for other opportunities.

Denis Shapovalov (-3 games) to beat Ugo Humbert || 1.63 @ OLYBET

Well the odds might be bigger @ other betting companies,  but i just posting my local bookie

So previous day was good, lets just hope we can follow up and be succesfull in very interesting month ahead.

Nothing much to write, Shapo is a way better player and he will give no chance to Ugo. Previous meeting was last year in Lyon (CLAY) where Shapo won 2-6 7-6 6-2 i think.  But this is different story,  where Denis playing far better on hard and will breeze past Ugo, he would stand no chance against very good server, that playing some top notch tennis right now. Frenchmen shouldnt be at this level right now!  GL ?

Looks like Shapo winning both sets @ 1.83 a great too. But i'll just stick with -3 games. The odds now droped a bit, to 1.6,  can not see Ugo getting any piece of it.

I agree once again with fizrukas. Bet placed on Shapovalov beeting Humbert 2:0, at 1.83. The rate is too god not to gamblenon it.

Well, the odds has changed again.  Shapo to win both sets is 1.98 and -3 games is 1.8 I mean smth going on... To win a match is now around 1.39 Dont know what that up and down means,  but lets just hope he will take it seriously.

Wow what a game that was Rublev beating FAA.  Andrey would be dark horse in AO i guess. He is in very good shape right now. his ability to comeback in the third..  Just amazing. He just never quits and has a strong mentality. FAA also looked great, but the russian is smth else. Keep an eye on his AO first rounds.
