KenWillow Posted December 21, 2019 Share Posted December 21, 2019 Yesterday I placed a bet on Peter Wright to win the match against Malicdem -2.5 on TAB, the official government operated betting agency. When I commenced watching the match I noticed that the sets were the best of 5. I immediately realised that there is no way to win this bet as the best Peter Wright could do is win 3-0 which means it was a "gift"? Am I reading this correctly? notanotherdonkey Posted December 22, 2019 Share Posted December 22, 2019 Well the match finished 3-2 to Wright so the only option you had to win the bet was 3-0 to wright which he did not do as it was + 2.5 points start to the opponent.
