Feyenoord vs PEC Zwolle

The Dutch Eredivisie matches are tough ones to find value in this weekend. I'm going for a relatively conservative choice of the game between Feyenoord and PEC Zwolle that is scheduled for a 3:45pm GMT kick-off on Sunday at the De Kuip. The home side might well be the favourites to win this game but can we find some value across the markets anywhere?

Feyenoord took decisive action at the end of October by sacking Jaap Stam and replacing him with the more experienced Dick Advocaat. The club is unbeaten under the former PSV and Netherlands gaffer. This is a man that has experience of winning this league with PSV back in 1996/97. Results since Advocaat came in have lifted the club up to 10th in the table but they're still 6 points off the pace of the automatic European qualification spots. Interestingly, even taking into account Stam's doomed tenure with the club, Feyenoord have only suffered defeat at home once this season.

PEC Zwolle fans will be hoping the rot hasn't set in for their side. Manager John Stegeman has seen his team lose three league games in a row now with 10 goals conceded in those matches. Those results have seen the team drop to 14th in the table and just 1 point above the relegation zone. It's now 6 defeats in the last 7 league games for PEC Zwolle and perhaps the most concerning thing is the lack of goals scored. Failure to score in 4 of those matches has proved hugely costly.

It seems as though this is the banker for the week but the outright odds aren't great. I'm going to back Feyenoord to win this by a couple of goals and also have the lead at both half-time and full-time. PEC Zwolle are in danger of losing control of their own destiny at this rate. Results are going sour and the odd win every 3-4 games just isn't going to be enough.

How and how these Twente players and the world of Twente are waiting to create a hot atmosphere. The home side have confirmed the doubles in eight of their last ten matches, while Ajax has been indifferent to the defense on many occasions. I expect people to push Twente
