StevieDay1983 1622 Posted 8 November 2019 6:28pm Cagliari vs Fiorentina The Serie A games offer some intriguing reading this weekend. Cagliari versus Fiorentina is the game that has caught my eye this weekend when the two teams clash in an 11:30am GMT kick-off on Sunday at the Sardegna Arena. It's been an encouraging start to the campaign for both of these teams but will they be able to find a winner or will we see two teams nullify each other here? Cagliari are in 6th place with 21 points from their 11 league games so far. That has put them just 8 points off the title pace of Juventus. Realistically, competing for Europa League qualification is more feasible. Even saying that will please Cagliari fans who are witnessing their team perform far better than the relegation battlers they were last season. Head coach Rolando Maran finds his team on a very rich run of results. It's now 9 league games unbeaten in a run stretching from 1st September. Since the first two home defeats it's been 3 wins and 1 draw on home turf. Fiorentina will come into this game having something to say about Cagliari's results. Vincenzo Montella's men are 8th in the league and 5 points behind their opponents coming into this match. Consistency has been a real issue for the club recently with just 1 win coming in their last 4 league matches. Only 1 loss in their 5 away matches in the league shows they are a tough side to beat on the road but can they contain this thriving Cagliari unit? I really am torn about whether to back Cagliari outright or put them down as a draw no bet just in case. They look irresistible right now but Fiorentina are the sort of side that will frustrate them and take something. I think I have to back the draw no bet option to play it safe but I'd totally understand if you're looking at this and thinking of backing the home side to win even though the bookies back the visitors. It should be a close game with Cagliari experiencing under 2.5 goals in 6 of their last 7 games. betcatalog 505 Posted 10 November 2019 2:10am I don't think there is a capacity issue, Juventus are a top team and at home will find a way to get the trio. Because both teams score and easily concede the goal, the score can be opened JUVENTUS TURIN vs AC MILAN @@ +2.50 Over, odds 1.
vicsuna 46 Posted 10 November 2019 11:03am Udinese vs SPAL: Udinese -1 Draw The new manager effect boosted Udine as they won away vs Genoa in the first game since Tudor got fired, which was a rather harsh decision but goes to show that Udine simply do not want to be in the relegation mix and have high standards. SPAL on the other hand seem to be destined for Serie B next season as they used to draw at home vs bottom side teams but now are losing those 6-pointers without the attacking threat of Lazzari that was sold to Lazio. Rodrigo de Paul scored his first goal of the season vs Genoa and should help the low scoring Udine snatch a narrow victory. Udinese have won 3 games at home from 6 and all were with 1 goal difference. 6 out of 8 wins for Udine last season at home were by 1 goal margin, including a 3:2 game vs SPAL. SPAL are the Serie A team with most games lost with 1 goal difference since start of last season 15 out of 49 and tied with Bologna for most away losses in a similar fashion 9 out of 24. It is worth noting that SPAL have played 2 less away games than Bologna so far this season and have also lost every single one of their 5 away matches. Odds above 3.5 seem a bit generous and should be closer to 3 in my opinion.
