We have a big fight in London as Chelsea and Ajax cross their swords again, after the win that Labard's team had taken in Amsterdam 1-0. In a game then, which by chance did not get to the score, something we expect to happen today
CHELSEA FC vs AJAX AMSTERDAM @@ +2.50 Over, odds 1.60

I expect no more than four goals at Anfield. Genk will try to avoid another humiliation and I expect a cautious approach. Klopp, meanwhile, will try to breathe in some key players for the upcoming derby with City. Given these facts, I think it will be a race with less than four goals
LIVERPOOL FC vs KRC GENK @@ +4.50 Under, odds 1.55

A major race, whichever team wins will have taken the next qualifying step. Inter, especially, will have the same tier. I expect them to give it everything, they will find a goal and it will be confirmed
BORUSSIA DORTMUND vs INTER MILANO @@ Both team to score, odds 1.65

Liverpool vs Genk

The Champions League action is back and we get stuck right into the mix with this preview of reigning European champions Liverpool playing Belgian First Division A side Genk in an 8pm GMT kick-off at Anfield this Tuesday night. Group E remains wide open but the result in this game could have a serious influence on which two teams end up qualifying for the knock-out phase.

Liverpool managed to pull off a dramatic last gap win away to Aston Villa on the weekend. The Reds will be hoping to take that momentum into this game where they could move 6 points clear of 3rd placed Red Bull Salzburg with just two group matches to play if they win. Jordan Henderson could well be rested for this game with Fabinho and James Milner being considered for recalls to the first team. It's now 23 matches unbeaten in European competition at Anfield for Liverpool. When you combine that stat with the fact that Jurgen Klopp has only lost 2 of his 19 home group stage matches in the Champions League then it's looking like a formidable challenge for the visitors.

Genk are pretty much fighting for their lives in this group now. Manager Felice Mazzu's men are bottom of the group with just 1 point from their 3 matches so far. That was a respectable 0-0 draw at home to Napoli. Liverpool won the previous match in Belgium by a 4-1 score-line so a return trip isn't at the top of most Genk's fans' wish list. Genk's only previous visit to England for a European game was forgettable too with a 5-0 defeat to Chelsea in October 2011.

I'm expecting a dominant Liverpool performance here. Backing the -2 handicap is the sensible shout but if you're feeling a little bit more adventurous then I see no reason why you wouldn't have every right to feel a -3 option is attractive. Betting on Liverpool to be leading at half-time and full-time might be a short price but it's also a very realistic possibility so almost free money. Klopp has developed an understanding of how to navigate a way through this competition and a side like Genk will only be in for a night of pain tonight.

Caught a little bit off guard by the 5.55 Barca kick-off, so no real time for proper write ups/previews but studying was done.

Barca vs. Slavia Praha - Barca to score 2+ goals.     I like the dynamic of this XI named. I think Griezmann/Suarez/Messi is too ball-hungry and pedestrian. Putting Griezmann down the middle flanked by Dembele & Ablba, with Vidal and Semedo overlapping the opposite side should be too much.

Zenit vs. Leipzig - Both teams to score.    Should be an open game. Leipzig a very innovative, expansive side and don't particularly change whether they're at home or away. Should be plenty of chances.

Dortmund vs. Inter - Inter or the draw.    I'd compare this fixture to Conte's Chelsea vs. Klopp's LFC to a degree. Home side very offensive and will rely on the atmosphere, but Conte and his 5-3-2 are the ultimate party poopers.

Liverpool vs. Genk - Liverpool to score 2+ goals    Like some on here, quite keen on a Liverpool performance. They need a result here, and at Anfield, should be too much for Genk over 90 mins.

Manchester City's group phase is coming to an end, as it already has a three to three win streak and can now extend its Bergamo series with Atalanta. The Italians are ineffective but at the same time very aggressive
ATALANTA BERGAMASCA CALCIO vs MANCHESTER CITY @@ +3.50 Over, odds  1.75

I expect both teams to score in Moscow. This is the crucial fight for Lokomotiv. The guests must score to keep their hope of a positive outcome alive. Yuri Semin's men were able to score in Italy, so why not in front of their audience. Juventus, meanwhile, have one player capable of making the difference - Cristiano Ronaldo. But not only that, there are Dibala and Higuain
FC LOKOMOTIV MOSCOW vs JUVENTUS TURIN @@ Both team to score, ODDS 1.93

Bayern Munich are big favorites in the match, with players having to prove things. With the removal of the technician and recent failures, he has to be serious and get the win. Olympiacos will fight for the best. Bayern score comfortably, while defenses have gaps and their focus is easily breached, so scoring for both teams is very likely

Atalanta vs Manchester City

The Champions League action continues into today and it'll have a hard time living up to the dramatic scenes of last night. In Group C, we see the bottom-placed side Atalanta hosting the group leaders Manchester City in an 8pm GMT kick-off at the Giuseppe Meazza. This is a game where the home side are fighting for survival in this group and the away team could potentially seal their place in the last 16.

Atalanta haven't had the best of times in this year's competition. Manager Gian Piero Gasperini has seen his team lose all three of their group games thus far and defeat would possibly see them eliminated from the competition with only a spot in the Europa League left to compete for. His side will be hoping to draw inspiration from the last time Atalanta hosted an English side when they beat Everton 3-0 at home in the Europa League back in 2017. The unwanted record Atalanta possess is that they are the first Italian team to lose all three of their first group stages games. The last team to lose all four was Romanian club Otelul Galati in 2011/12. They now currently play in the third tier of Romanian football.

Manchester City sit proudly on top of this group with three wins from their three group games. The previous meeting saw City destroy Atalanta by a 5-1 score-line but as we saw with Liverpool against Genk last night. It doesn't guarantee another similar score this time around. Raheem Sterling has bagged 9 goals in his last 10 appearances in the Champions League so there's an anytime scorer tip for you. Sergio Aguero has also scored in each of his last five away games in the Champions League.

I can see this being a standard win for City but Atalanta will make it tricky. Pep Guardiola will want to see his team seal qualification for the knock-out round as soon as possible. I've not seen anything from Atalanta in this competition so far that has me thinking they'll pose a threat to win this game. This is the Champions League though. Slavia Prague did hold Barcelona to a 0-0 draw at the Nou Camp last night though... so, anything could happen!
