We have had just 7 races here so not a whole of stats to go on. What we can say is that you need to be quick in qualifying and get a good grid place. All 7 races have been won off the front row.

We had a virtual safety car last year making 3 races without a proper one and four with, i'm guessing the prices will side with the 'yes' option as per usual.

16 actually crossed the line last year, its hows 14 but two drivers were disqualified later but the stats will still show that we maybe want to look at the 'unders' this week for a change.

Lewis Hamilton needs to just finish somewhere near his team mate to clinch the title and well done for those who backed him at the start of the season, he was 8/11 but it has never really been in doubt.

So we have a wide open race for once, the bookies are not really sure which way this one will turn out.

They have Bottas at 7/4 from pole, that must be one of the biggest prices for a pole sitter this season, Verstappen is 7/2 just ahead of Vettel on 4/1 despite them being the other way round on the grid. Hamilton who just needs to finish 8th or better to clinch the title is a best priced 9/2 and the only other possibility is Leclerc who is a tempting looking 7/1in places.

This has led to 2 bookies (Ladbrokes and Corals) to go 3 places for each way betting, a very rare thing these days. Once upon a time every race was 3 places!!
Problem with this is both firms are being very tight so its not the great bet it first looked. For example Leclerc is only 11/2 instead of 7/1.......

Personally I just have a fancy for Max Verstappen this week, I think he has been driving well for a few weeks now without getting his just reward, I know he can push too hard at times but at 7/2 he's worth a bet. I see Laddies are going 11/1 for a Verstappen/Vettel dual forecast, and 18/1 for a Verstappen/Leclerc DF, must be worth a small bet.
