Surely Bell Heather is worth an each way punt if she breaks nicely in the 6.50?! The 6 year old Mare won over C&D in a class 5 around this time last year off a mark of 63, and although she faces 65 today, Greatrex's 3lb claim theoretically puts her 1lb below that winning mark, and dropping into class 6 company. She had a very creditable summer on the turf before running into some start difficulties & soft ground recently, but all the better, as it has her on a little nice mark & at a tasty each way price today. If she gets some rub of the green and Greatrex can position her nice and prominent in the opening stages, she could definitely have a big say.
