Skybet Withdrawals

Recommended Posts

New member here, after some advice. Never had a problem with Skybet before, bank transfer withdrawals usually arrive in my account within 48hrs.  On September 24th, I withdrew £750 in the usual manner.  It still hasn't reached my account.  I have had a long chat with Sky going (pasted below). Anyone ever had this problem before or now?

Hi, I made a withdrawal of £750 on the 25th. Still hasn't been received?
Hi Lee, we're sorry to hear this. Can you please DM us with your User ID, Full name, Date of Birth and Mother's maiden name for security and we'll take a look for you?
MON 09:24
Thanks a lot for taking the time to complete security for us Lee. It's really appreciated. In regards to your withdrawal, all withdrawals whether via manual withdrawal or bank transfer take up to 5 working days to be received. This payment was made on the 25th and the 5th working day would be 2nd October. If you do not have this by that time, please may you let us know so we can advise you of any next steps and review this with you! Hope you have a great day Lee!

Hey Sky. I'm getting a tad nervous about my withdrawal........
We can certainly appreciate that Lee, but withdrawals can take up to 5 working days, this is simply standard banking procedure, and today is still the 4th working day.
I understand that, withdrawals previously have never taken this long, usually just a day or two. Weird though.

Hi Skybet. The £750 still hasn't arrived?
Okay Lee, thank you for making us aware. There is still till the end of this day for this to be received by yourself. In regards to a withdrawal, after the 5 working days are complete, the next time we would be able to do anything further for yourself would be on the 10th working day, the bank would send to us a receipt for proof of this payment and this is something that we can then share with yourself to assist you in chasing this up with your bank. Sorry for the inconvenience of this.

Hi again. It hasn't arrived again today. Can I check it has been paid into the account that all my recent withdrawals have successfully been paid into please?
Thanks for your patience Lee. We have checked the payment and it appears to be in a pending state, this is due to a delay with bank transfers Our finance team have advised they're working on getting this issue resolved and the funds released ASAP. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Thanks. This has been a week, never had a problem before and I would say Skybet is the fastest to withdraw anywhere! How long do you expect this to take please?
We can only apologise for any frustration this may have caused. We are unable to provide a time frame on this, we can confirm that the relevant team are looking to get this resolved as soon as possible. Please let us know if you need anything further in the meantime.
Hi, has this "issues" been resolved yet please?
We do apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause Lee, however this issue is still ongoing. Please rest assured that our payments team are looking to get this issue resolved as soon as possible. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
Is this "issue" just with my withdrawal or are other customers of Sky affected?
There have been other customers affected by this Lee, not just yourself. Again, we apologise for the inconvenience, but we are looking to sort this as soon as possible. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

:welcome to Punters Lounge @leecar77  :cheers

We don't currently promote Skybet due to unethical behaviour which affected a lot of small businesses. It's pretty poor of Skybet to be taking so long to process a withdrawal regardless of issues as there's plenty of ways to get the money to you. The very least they should be doing is giving you a free bet or some kind of compensation to keep you happy. However, Skybet have become a law unto their own and yesterday got bought by PaddyPower/Betfair, so we'll see how that pans out too!
