We have two great derbys this week but only one.

PAOK - ARIS. Paok strongest right now but Aris in this derby traditionally plays well. Aris without basic manager and this week huntin Zerar Lopez from Spain. Lopez is the general manager of Barcelona academys. Aris hunting Lopez as main manager but if if it fails to close contract it has a secondary solution the german manager Michael Henning.

Panathinaikos - Olympiacos. Panathinaikos is bullshit and only underground take points from the reds.

Asteras - Atromitos is a match between friendly clubs. The friendly fourfold Atromitos - Asteras - Panionios - Panaitolikos.

Panaitolikos - AEK. The new bought team of the pontus owner of PAOK Ivan Savvidis against the other pontus owner of AEK Dimitris Melissanidis.

Panathinaikos vs Olympiakos

One of the great European derby matches is taking place this weekend in the Greek Super League but it's not got the punching power it used to possess. Dramatically labelled "Derby of the Eternal Enemies", this clash between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos has had its fair share of chaos over the years. The two clubs meet this Sunday in a 6:30pm BST kick-off at the Athens Olympic Stadium.

Panathinaikos are renowned as one of the greatest clubs in Greek football having won the Greek Super League 20 times and the Greek Cup 18 times. In Europe, they were runners-up in the European Cup back in 1971 and also reached the semi-finals in 1985 and 1996. Unfortunately, head coach Giorgios Donis isn't overseeing a golden period right now. The Greens are languishing in 11th place having just picked up 1 point from their 3 league games so far. Their only home game this season saw an embarrassing 3-0 loss to OFI.

Olympiakos arguably are the biggest club in Greek football. The Red-Whites might not have had as much success as Panathinaikos in Europe but their domestic record eclipses their rivals with 44 Greek Super League titles and 27 Greek Cup wins to their name. However, the league title has escaped their grasp since 2016/17. This season has started very well under head coach Pedro Martins with 3 wins from their 3 league games with 7 goals scored and none conceded.

It's hard to see past an away win in this game. There is a gulf between these two sides so far this season. The old adage goes that form goes out of the window in these derby matches but I think Olympiakos look like champions-in-waiting this season. Goals are coming from all over the pitch with Youssef El-Arabi and Mathieu Valbuena leading the scoring charts and a defensive line that has been resolute. I think backing an away win with a clean sheet could be worth the risk.

Clash with rivalry and very passionate on both sides. The home side always has the first reason, this has to be confirmed on the pitch, if PAOK were better in defense, it would be a favorite for the match. They will fight and give it their all, I expect both teams to score
