The home side remain unbeaten so far this season but the visiting team are only 1 point behind their opponents heading into this game. Can either team take all 3 points to push on up the table? Boavista are looking a solid team so far this season. Lito Vidigal's men are sat in 4th place just 2 points off the pace of league leaders Famalicao and haven't suffered a single defeat yet in their four league games. Question marks do remain over the Chequered Ones due to the fact they haven't really encountered any of the big guns yet. This challenge will be their toughest yet and it'll be interesting to see how they face it. Sporting CP have navigated their way through turbulent times of upheaval to remain a side that can be feared in this top flight of Portuguese football. Head coach Leonel Pontes has seen his team win 2, draw 1, and lose 1 so far. The 2-1 home victory over Braga has been the stand-out result for the Lions up until now. Is it too tall an order to expect them to travel to the Boavista area of Porto and bring back all 3 points? Despite Boavista edging the form so far the performances suggest Sporting CP have every reason to fancy the win here. The ELO ratings back the away win and I feel Boavista remain an unknown quantity given the average quality of the sides they've faced up to this point. This game has a 1-0 or 2-0 away win tempting me.
