Although the first leg of the Champions League, there is no shortage of older couples, as in the sixth group, where Borussia Dortmund in Germany hosts Barcelona. Both teams have their themes at the start of the season, but their mid-range quality is set to score and give us a spectacle.
BORUSSIA DORTMUND vs FC BARCELONA @@ Both team to score, odds 1.55

I expect both teams to score in San Paulo. Napoli plays at home and will try to win again. Bearing in mind that Alison Becker was injured, the hosts will score much easier. Klopp, meanwhile, doesn't know how to play "catacombs", but will certainly start with Salah, Firmio and Mane in the offensive. Achieving a goal can be vital to avoid last season's result

Chelsea vs Valencia

Oh dear, I have to admit, I'm actually very interested in how Chelsea perform this season now. I'm going to preview their opening game of the Champions League group stage against Valencia at Stamford Bridge in an 8pm kick-off tonight because I'm fascinated to see how Frank Lampard sets his side up knowing they have a crucial clash in the Premier League with Liverpool on the weekend.

Chelsea have had a mix and match start to their season so far. Lampard has seen his team lose 4-0 to Manchester United on the opening weekend of the league season but have since gone four league games undefeated. The most recent result being the impressive 5-2 hammering away to Wolves. Young striker Tammy Abraham has come into his own this campaign scoring 7 goals in his last 3 matches. Will Lampard opt to keep Abraham's momentum going or will he rest his youthful prospect and give European football specialist Olivier Giroud a start up top?

Valencia made the bizarre decision to sack Marcelino earlier this month. The former midfielder has been replaced by Albert Celades and his first game in charge saw a 5-2 defeat away to Barcelona. It's hard to judge how Celades will do in the hot seat at the club but losing Marcelino after an alleged bust-up with owner Peter Lim has got to be seen as a big blow. It was Marcelino who guided the club back into Europe's elite club competition.

The away side come to Stamford Bridge knowing that they are yet to manage a win against the Blues. Six meetings have resulted in three wins for Chelsea and three draws. Chelsea are on a brilliant run of results in Europe after their Europa League success last season. The Blues haven't lost in 15 European games. I can see that run continuing here. Chelsea seem in a much more settled place than Valencia right now and a narrow win seems most likely.

Borussia Dortmund x Barcelona

Borussia Dortmund is one of the teams that never appears as a Champions League title contender and is totally overshadowed as if there were only Bayern in Germany, Bayern's dominance says more about the strength of the team than the weakness of its biggest rival. present. Borussia Dortmund do have one of the strongest teams in these champions, and I see them as a possible candidate to surprise and eventually win.

With a strong quarterback, and an amazing mid-front team, especially with the signings of Thorgan Hazard and Brandt the best players from Leverkusen and Borussia Gladbach, joining them with great pieces like Reus, Witsel and Paco Alcacer, I see this team with a very well defined style of play and with total conditions to beat Barcelona, even more against the yellow wall and its stadium with a very strong field command.

The Barcelona team has been having a lot of flaws at the beginning of the season, although they have hired Griezzman and De Jong the team will still depend a lot on Messi as last season, many players like Suarez, Arthur, Rakitc among others are still good players, but It's not like you could say that this Barcelona is an exquisite as many people think of the team and already remember the Barca de Guardiola, Xavi and Iniesta.

I see Borussia at this start of season stronger than Barcelona who have a chance to count on Messi, but even if the greatest player of all time acts, he will not be 100% fit, so let Borussia Dortmund DNB pay 2.07.

Chelsea x Valencia

Chelsea have shown little solidity this early in the season, which is normal for a team that loses its best player, and loses its coach who had only one season's job. With a team unable to hire having to give value to young people like Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham the team has fared better than expected, even in the rout against Manchester United.

Valencia are beaten 5-0 by Barcelona, and the team fired their coach at the start of the season, who managed to win the Copa del Rey and still qualify for the Champions League, made very big for Valencia, as 3 places already are practically guaranteed, and in Spain as well as England there are several good teams able to fill the fourth wave.

Valencia have scored just 4 points in their first 12 games, and Chelsea are routed against a team that is similar to Valencia in play style and of similar level as Wolverhampton. I consider this line wrong, but I understand that an international competition is difficult to evaluate momentum and a possible matchup, but I see value in the pure Chelsea win here with a great 1.85 odd at 1xbet

Chelsea -0,5 @1.85 Pinnacle

Internazionale x Slavia Prague

Internazionale were one of last season's disappointments, managed a heroic turn against Tottenham in the first round, and were able to pass even in a group with Barcelona, Tottenham and PSV. The team went to the last round needing only to beat PSV, but was eventually eliminated by Lucas Moura's draw in Barcelona.

For this season the team lost some players with Perisic and Icardi, but under Conti's command the team already changes its threshold on the field and how it behaves. The Inter team has no desire to be mediocre another year and the 3 wins in the first three rounds, besides hiring Lukaku, Sanchez and Diego Godin proves it.

Slavia Prague have won just 3 games in their last 17 Champions League games, all of them for Champions Qualify. It's a team that has beat Cluj by the minimum score and really should be the group's punching bag. If it were their house with this handicap I would understand, but at San Siro against a much stronger team and a handicap line so short that even returns if we win by only 1 goal is very worthwhile.

Internazionale -1 @2.03 Pinnacle

Great showdown between two quality opponents capable of reaching far. Both groups have absenteeism and punishment problems and their competitiveness may be impaired. Despite all that, they have aggressive virtues and quality to look at an open match with goals, after all defensive issues. I'll bet on many goals
PARIS SAINT GERMAIN vs REAL MADRID @@ +2.50 Over, odds 1.58

An important match for both rivals, the three points will give the qualification lead any team they have won. Tottenham are a favorite, but they have to prove it on the pitch too. The power of Olympiacos is Karaiskakis, we will see a very interesting game where both teams can score

Shakhtar Donetsk vs Manchester City

The Champions League group stages continue tonight with Shakhtar Donetsk hosting Manchester City in an 8pm BST kick-off at the Metalist Stadium. If ever there was a chance for the Ukrainian side to catch the reigning Premier League champions on the hop then it will be now. Concerns run deep within the visiting side after the away defeat to Norwich on the weekend. Can Shakhtar take advantage?

Shakhtar Donetsk have become Champions League veterans over recent years. The Miners have a new manager at the helm in Luis Castro after Paulo Foncesca was snapped up by Roma. Castro has the unenviable task of building on the double winning season last year. The 2-1 defeat to Dynamo Kiev in the Ukrainian Super Cup was the best start to this season but 7 wins from their first 7 league games has seen them fly out into a 7 point lead at the top of the league table in the Ukrainian top flight.

Manchester City will be keen to bounce back after the shock loss to Norwich on the weekend. The performances of John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi came under particular scrutiny. Pep Guardiola now faces the dilemma with Stones ruled out through injury alongside number one choice centre back Aymeric Laporte. This means Otamendi is likely to start with Fernandinho the expected replacement in the back-line. It's far from ideal. City won 3-0 in this fixture in this competition last season to become the first English side to beat Shakhtar Donetsk on their own patch. It won't be that easy this time.

I never thought I'd be in a position where I was tempted to back a team like Shakhtar Donetsk to stun a side such as Manchester City but here I am. I'm too cowardly to back them to get the win but at the odds offered a +2 handicap certainly seems worth going for. I think Guardiola is going to have to use every tactic in his mental encyclopedia to get his men through this one. The best form of defence will be attack. I can see goals at both ends but I think City might still sneak a one goal win.

Shakhtar Donetsk +2 @ 3.30 with Paddy Power

BTTS @ 1.78 with Betway
