StevieDay1983
Royal Antwerp vs St Truiden The Belgian First Division A has had a turbulent start so far with a lot of results not quite going according to expectation. I am previewing this match between Royal Antwerp and St Truiden that kicks off at 5pm BST on Sunday at the Bosuilstadion in Antwerp in the hope that the end result goes in line with what the bookies are anticipating and what I think is going to happen. Royal Antwerp are enjoying a productive start to their campaign so far. Laszlo Boloni has seen his team win 2 of their first 3 league games to move up to 4th in the table. The club that finished runners up in the 1992/93 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup are looking to recapture the glory days and they've started with the right form. A win here could see them really start setting themselves apart from the rest of the chasing pack at this early stage. The goals from Dieumerci Mbokani and Lior Refaelov have been key. St Truiden haven't had the best of starts despite still being placed higher than Anderlecht. Marc Brys has watched his team win 1 and lose 2 of their 3 league matches so far. 8 goals conceded in those 3 matches has shown that the defensive structure needs tightening up. The club finished 7th last season and at the moment any hope of matching or bettering that finish this season is looking like the stuff of dreams. These two sides have experienced contrasting fortunes so far in their early days of this season. Royal Antwerp haven't been invincible up to now but they're certainly showing themselves to be a dangerous attacking force. I think that potent attack against this fragile St Truiden defence could see the goals fly in. I'd recommend backing Royal Antwerp to win this game and win it with relative ease.
