Dellpierro
Valletta vs Astana (Europa League) Valletta did well versus Ferencvaros at home in the previous Europa League round when they managed to hold Hungarian champions to 1:1 in the capital of Malta. However, that game had a different background since Valletta had some chances of passing further in the Champions League. Today's game has a completely different background since Astana showed to be serious about this at home with a convincing 5:1 win. Valletta goalkeeper Bonello helped his team not to concede six or seven goals in Kazakhstan. Hosts will again miss defender Caruana (23/2 last season stats), attackers Malano(26/3) and Kaljevic(19/11). Now, Astana travels 6000 km but they are not travelling without winning ambitions. The club aims to improve results away from home, to improve the reputation and coefficient in European games with beating lower-profile opponents. The ideal schedule for Astana since their next league game is in 10 days (next round Europa league is on upcoming Thursday). https://www.insidesport.info/betting-picks/free-pick--valletta-vs-astana-/782 Edited August 15, 2019 by Dellpierro
StevieDay1983
TNS vs Ludogorets Razgrad OK, so the first preview of this 3rd Qualifying Round 2nd Leg phase of the Europa League might be a dead rubber now but that means it could offer some value. It's Welsh Premier League champions TNS taking on Bulgarian national league title holders Ludogorets Razgrad in a 6:30pm BST kick-off at the Park Hall Stadium in Oswestry with the away side in this game holding a 5-0 lead over their hosts. TNS have been the dominant team in Welsh football for a while now and even though they've done well to remain in European competition up to this stage it now looks like their continental journey is set to draw to an anti-climactic conclusion tonight. Scott Ruscoe's men have a near impossible to turn this tie around so it'll simply be a case of trying to salvage some respect by winning the match on the night. Ludogorets Razgrad continue to lead the way in Bulgarian football and their impressive home win in the first leg last week did all the necessary hard work. Stoycho Stoev will want a repeat display from his lads in this game. The club is top of their domestic league after 5 games so far and they've already sealed the Bulgarian Super Cup with a 2-0 win over Lokomotiv Plovdiv. The one area of concern is that the Bulgarian side haven't been great on the road. They've only won 1 of their 4 competitive away games this season. Winning on their travels is an unknown feeling this season in Europe. Even though Ludogorets Razgrad have a huge lead on aggregate and may well field fringe players I still feel this is a game they will feel they should be winning. TNS don't begin their domestic season until next week so they'll be keen to go out on a high so it'll be close but I think the visiting side will have enough to sneak a win. It could be worth backing TNS to avoid getting a hammering but that's probably the best they can hope for. StevieDay1983
Wolves vs Pyunik Right, so I was a bit off on this one last week. I didn't anticipate that Nuno Santo would take most of his first team all the way out to Armenia just a few days before their opening Premier League game of the season! Anyway, it's the second leg now so a chance of redemption. Premier League Wolves this time play host to Armenian club Pyunik in this 7:45pm kick-off at Molineux tonight. Wolves continue to progress well under the managerial guidance of Santo. The former Portuguese goalkeeper has bolstered his squad that qualified for the Europa League last season through their league position with the likes of Patrick Cutrone, Jesus Vallejo, and the permanent signings of Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendoncker. A convincing 4-0 win in the first leg has put them in a great position to progress here. The 0-0 draw with Leicester on Sunday was disappointing because the Wanderers were denied a goal controversially by VAR that would have given them all 3 points. Pyunik will be disappointed they couldn't take something from their first leg at home. Aleksandr Tarkhanov was probably hoping, like me, that Wolves would send a largely fringe squad out for the first leg and look to repair any damage caused in the second leg at home. This game is now a formality and it's unlikely Santo will take any risks here either so it could be another tough night for the Armenians. On the one hand, I'm expecting Wolves to field a strong side and keep momentum going as they head into this weekend's games. On the other hand, I'm anticipating some changes because the club is 4-0 up. Whoever Santo sends out to play in this game I wasn't very impressed by Pyunik at home so I think they'll struggle away. I can see Wolves winning by a couple of goals at least and keeping a clean sheet during the process. Pyunik +4 @ 1.80 with Betway Patrick Cutrone to score 2 or more goals @ 4.00 with Blacktype
