I'll get a preview for this low-key game tomorrow. It's Feronikeli of Kosovo versus FC Santa Coloma of Andorra in a 7:45pm kick-off tonight at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium in Pristina to decide who will qualify for the 1st Qualifying Round of the Champions League to face Welsh Premier League champions TNS. OK, so this is a stark contrast to the season finale of Liverpool versus Tottenham in the Champions League Final just a matter of weeks ago but that's the beauty of the competition. This is where it all starts. Feronikeli benefit from playing on home turf. The Football Superleague of Kosovo champions navigated their way past Lincoln Red Imps of Gibraltar in the previous round with a 1-0 win to set-up this tie. FC Santa Coloma also had a tight affair in their previous game in a 1-0 victory against Tre Penne of San Marino. The Andorra Primera Divisio title winners will be pleased to have got past that challenge but what awaits them could provide a whole new task entirely. It's essentially an away tie. The sensible money seems to be with a Feronikeli win. Kosovo are making movements on the international scene and their domestic clubs will soon start to follow. This is a huge opportunity for the Black Tigers on home turf and I expect them to seal a solid 1-0 or 2-0 win.
