StevieDay1983
Colorado Rapids vs Minnesota United This week's MLS fixtures have already thrown up some interesting results and we head into the final batch of games with the 2am BST encounter between Colorado Rapids and Minnesota United at the Dicks Sporting Goods Park on Sunday morning. I hope you're all pulling an all-nighter here! Colorado Rapids are having a torrid time this season. Conor Casey replaced Anthony Hudson at the start of May and it appears that results are on the up. Casey has won 3, drawn 1, and lost 2 of his 6 regular season games in charge. Far better than Hudson's record of 2 draws and 10 losses from their opening 12 league games. The Rapids are still rooted to the bottom of the Western Conference on 12 points but they will have one eye on moving up to challenge for those play-offs. Minnesota United are faring slightly better in 6th place in the Western Conference and 3 points inside the play-off spots. Adrian Heath is hoping to be an abrupt end to this two-game losing streak his side are currently feeling. The most concerning issue will be conceding three goals in both of those matches. We are likely to see a high-scoring encounter here. Both teams have been conceding goals left, right, and centre. Colorado are in the ascendancy so I have to back them to get the win but it could be a thriller. Minnesota United might get back to winning ways soon but it's unlikely to be in this game.
