World Cup

Recommended Posts

Looking forward to this tonight. 9th edition of the World Cup. Holders no suprisingly are Holland but alot of teams this year have one player that isn't really doing it on the big stage. There is question marks over alot of players and I will take a couple of big outsiders.

Teams :

2 23px-Flag_of_Scotland.svg.png Scotland Gary Anderson and Peter Wright
3 23px-Flag_of_Wales_%281959%E2%80%93prese Wales Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton
4 23px-Flag_of_the_Netherlands.svg.png Netherlands Michael van Gerwen and Jermaine Wattimena
5 23px-Flag_of_Australia_%28converted%29.s Australia Simon Whitlock and Kyle Anderson
6 23px-Ulster_Banner.svg.png Northern Ireland Daryl Gurney and Brendan Dolan
7 23px-Flag_of_Belgium_%28civil%29.svg.png Belgium Kim Huybrechts and Dimitri Van den Bergh
8 23px-Flag_of_Austria.svg.png Austria Mensur Suljović and Zoran Lerchbacher

1pt E/W Belgium to win World Cup Of Darts 25/1 coral
1pt E/W N.Ireland to win World Cup Of Darts 12/1 bet365

Ireland in Gurney atleast has a big player who can beat anybody and if Dolan can get his doubling together they have a nice draw. Belgium could be the big underdogs with highly rated Van Den Bergh and in Kim, much like Dolan, on his day can cause damage to anybody.

Yeah, I think Belgium was close in my outright selection. Shows how good Scotland were I suppose and bodes well for Gary Anderson on his return from back injury.
