The FA Cup Final is only a couple of weeks away but it'll be on us before we know it. We have a David vs Goliath match-up here with Manchester City heavy favourites against Watford. Are the bookies right to call it so much in favour of the Citizens over the Hornets? Take a look at the odds then share with us your bets for this game. :ok

Manchester City vs Watford

The 138th edition of the FA Cup Final is scheduled to be played at Wembley this Saturday evening with a 5pm kick-off as newly crowned Premier League champions Manchester City play against their division rivals Watford. The bookies think it's a done contest before a ball has been kicked but are they right?

Manchester City are looking to seal a domestic treble with Pep Guardiola's side already sealing the EFL Cup and Premier League title. It would seem that the Citizens are in a position where it is their game to lose having not tasted defeat in domestic competition since their surprise 2-1 defeat away to Newcastle on 29th January. It'll be a stupid brave person that bets against them to win here.

Watford come into this game in not exactly the best shape. Javi Gracia's men are without a win in their last four domestic matches. West Ham, Southampton, and Wolves were amongst those teams inflicting defeat on the Hornets so not exactly the toughest of opponents. You get the impression most of their fans are just looking forward to a day out at the home of football.

It's not the best reading for Watford fans when you look through the statistics and facts ahead of this game. Watford have lost their last 10 matches against Manchester City. It's a run that extends to 15 games without a win. That last victory coming way back in March 1989.

Interestingly, this is the first time two managers from the same nation have competed against each other in an FA Cup Final since 2008 when Englishmen Dave Jones and Harry Redknapp went head-to-head with their Cardiff and Portsmouth sides respectively. Whoever wins tomorrow will become only the third Spaniard to lead a team to FA Cup glory with Rafa Benitez (Liverpool, 2006) and Roberto Martinez (Wigan, 2013) the only previous winners.

As much as I'd love to witness a giant-killing feat here with Watford scrapping a shock win over Manchester City I just can't help but feel Guardiola will guide his team to a business-like victory. They have slipped into cruise control as the season has come to a close where as Watford have let their form slip. I expect a brave effort from the Hornets but they won't have enough to get past City.
