Now, they're a team I'm recommending you back. Leonardo Jardim is back and his side face Angers at the Stade Raymond Kopa this Saturday evening in a 7pm kick-off as the principality side aim to continue their resurgence in the league. Angers have had an eventful season this year. Mixed results, multiple postponed games, and one minute scoring for free then the next not being able to score for toffee. The club are in 12th place but the defeat to Guingamp last weekend ended a run of three consecutive league wins for Stephane Moulin's side. Monaco were looking like unexpected candidates for relegation under Thierry Henry after he replaced Jardim earlier in the season. Henry was sacked and Jardim was re-appointed by club president Dmitry Rybolovlev. Since that return, Jardim has seen his side win 3, draw 1, and lose 1 of their last 5 league games. It would appear that Monaco have regained a bit of their standard form now. Whatever happened during Jardim's first spell this season it seems lessons have been learned from all parties. The club is now in 16th place and 5 points clear of relegation. It's now 3 wins from their last 4 league games so I have to back them for the win here.
