bluemal Posted January 19, 2019 Share Posted January 19, 2019 Ayr 2.30 Present Flight @ 8/1 bet365 e/w thanks Present Flight - from Lucinda Russell yard the 10yo has been successful in two chases at 2m 7f and 3m 3f on good to firm and good ground, The old has found a bit of form in his last two races at Carlisle 2m 4f when 3rd beaten 1.75 lengths in handicap chase and at Ayr 3m when 2nd beaten 1.25 lengths , that race was 18 days ago and yard make the trip down from Perth to Ayr again and the step up in distance which he's won at Musselburgh in a novice handicap chase but that was his last win in 2015 /16 season but has been placed in numerous occasions since then and maybe one more win before he put out to grace, The last win was off 111 mark and goes today off 104 mark with same jockey Derek Fox coming back to take ride. Astleavista Posted January 20, 2019 Share Posted January 20, 2019 Cushuish - 2.50 Exeter (ew @ 33/1 with Bet365) Appeared to be done for pace on her hurdles debut at Taunton, never travelling in rear but stayed on well after the last flight to be a never nearer 4th. Has been kept to the same track for two latest efforts, firstly over the same distance where it was a similar story although her jumping was not as good. Stepped up slightly in trip last time but unseated her rider early after veering left. Hopefully that was just a one off as she should be capable of improving on what she has done so far when tackling longer trips in mares only races.
