Hannover 96 vs Fortuna Dusseldorf

If you want to discuss proper hardcore Bundesliga betting then you've come to the right place. There's nothing glamorous here. Just a gritty bottom-of-the-table clash between Hannover 96 and Fortuna Dusseldorf in a 2:30pm kick-off on Saturday afternoon at the HDI-Arena.

Hannover 96 are struggling this season. There is no other way of putting it. Andre Breitenreiter's side are in 17th place with just 11 points from their 16 league games so far. The threat of relegation is growing with every passing week. A defeat here could well see the club looking at a new manager in time for the January transfer window.

Fortuna Dusseldorf are probably just in line with their optimistic pre-season aspirations. Friedhelm Funkel's team are in 15th place but after back-to-back wins in the league against Freiburg and league leaders Borussia Dortmund their fans are starting to believe they can stay up this season. It'll be interesting to see how last week's victory influences their campaign now.
