Brendan Young Posted December 6, 2018 Share Posted December 6, 2018 I have been using the ELO ratings for the last few weeks with no success. Firstly, Norwich away let me down with a draw. Next, PSG and Lazio, both drew away, and lastly Rangers, despite being rated vastly superior to Aberdeen, managed to lose 0-1 at home! StevieDay1983 Posted December 6, 2018 Share Posted December 6, 2018 Nobody said the ELO ratings had a 100% success rate. They are there as an indicator for how each team is performing. The teams you've listed are teams that have generally been performing but been caught out by a freak result. Can't really put that on the ratings. That buck stops with those teams.
