StevieDay1983
The next round of Champions League matches are coming up next week but it's never too early to start talking about the betting. It's the final matches of the group stage. Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Porto, Schalke, Bayern Munich, Ajax, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Roma, Juventus, and Manchester United have all booked their places in the last 16 with a game to spare. In Group B, Tottenham and Inter Milan are competing for that second qualification spot. Group C is still open with Napoli, PSG, and Liverpool all still in with a chance of progressing. In Group F, Lyon and Shakhtar Donetsk will try to earn that second qualification position. There are also plenty of other Europa League spots up for grabs for the third place finishers. Let us know what bets you're putting down ahead of these matches after checking the odds and ratings listed above!

Grass Cash
Stevie .. I don't understand the Champions league format. Some of the groups must already be determined. They are playing meaningless matches to finish out the group stages. Is this actually what is happening or is there some important seedings taking place ? thank you @StevieDay1983
Grass Cash
I believe there is also some qualification relationships between Europa league and ECL as well.. any info you can share on that might be helpful.. take it easy !

Basically, the top two in each group qualify for the knockout stage of the competition. The team that finishes in 3rd place in each group then qualifies for the knockout stages of the Europa League. All six games must be completed anyway, even if teams have secured their spots. It's worth keeping an eye on which teams have already qualified for the next stage because they may field weaker sides to give their first team players a rest. Grass Cash
What happens if a team has done so poorly that they cannot qualify for either tournament. They are have one final match to play in the competition.. Do they have motivation of any sort to get 3 points ? @StevieDay1983
DrO
Motive is a money prize. For every single victory in UCL you get 2,7 million euros and for a draw 900.000 approximately. Also there is something called coefficient points in Europe Cup competitions. The more points you collect in the group stage, this will also increase your club's coefficient. And this is important because it gives you a position of a seeded club and a possible softer draw for the next campaign. I do not know if I was clear enough because my English is far from solid. Carovie
anybody know if Monaco and Dortmund are going to take their match seriously? I mean, do you know if Henry will continue using most of young and unexperienced players? And I see Monaco have many possible missings And do you know if Dortmund will use their best players available here trying to get a win for fight for the first place? But I am not totally sure about their intention of get first position of the group, because they couldnot win to Brugge at home last match Edited December 10, 2018 by Carovie StevieDay1983
DrO
Crvena zvezda - PSG Group C has been one of the most competitive in this season's Champions League and going into the final round of matches it is Paris Saint-Germain who are in seemingly in the best position to qualify. The French champions will make it through to the last 16 if they beat Crvena zvezda in Belgrade, although they would also progress if Liverpool fail to beat Napoli. Crvena Zvezda for their part have perhaps taken more points in this group than many people thought they would and while we cannot make the last 16 we could still finish third with a win and qualify for the Europa League. We had lot of problems in this campaign in away fixtures, but we were very strong on our Marakana stadium. Vujadin Savic is questionable while holding midfielder Nenad Krsticic is suspended. Milan Pavkov, our local hero who scored a double against Liverpool,is available. Neymar and M`bappe had some small injury problems recently, but they both could play here. Like i said we made a fortress of our stadium again and still didn`t concede a single goal in home fixtures. I`m affraid that this could change after Tuesday night because PSG have too much firepower upfront with Cavani,Neymar and M`bappe. They trashed us by 6-1 in Paris even tough i don`t expect something similar to hapen in Belgrade. On the contrary, I expect a much more tight encounter with the possibility of Crvena zvezda to score a goal. PSG are the second highest scoring side in this season's Champions League but are yet to keep a clean sheet. PSG have kept just two clean sheets in their last 12 away games in the Champions League and while they have faced a lot of quality opposition during that time, they have also conceded away to the likes of Basel and Ludogorets. In my opinion Napoli have some great players but as team, I think Liverpool is superior and more used to play this kind of matchs and playing at Anfield, you know what it supposes for the rival team. StevieDay1983
Barcelona vs Tottenham It's the big one in the Champions League this Tuesday. In amongst all the chat about which teams have something to play for in this final round we have Barcelona versus Tottenham in an 8pm kick-off at the Nou Camp where the visitors need to equal or better Inter Milan's result against PSV to qualify for the last 16. Barcelona have already taken care of business at their end with 13 points from their 5 group games so far. It means they have already sealed qualification to the knockout stage. Ernesto Valverde's side have also confirmed top spot in the group so will be seeded for the next phase. It's simply about pride for them now. Tottenham have a slightly more complex situation. If they earn the same result as Inter Milan do against PSV at the San Siro then they will progress. Unfortunately, that is likely to mean that Tottenham have to beat Barcelona on their home turf. PSV haven't won a single point away in the group stage and have only picked up a single point in the whole group phase... and that was at home to Tottenham. The home side dominate the recent head-to-head record in this clash. Barcelona have won 2 and drawn 1 against Spurs. The last meeting being the Lionel Messi masterclass in a 4-2 win at Wembley earlier in the group stage. It doesn't get much better for Tottenham when you look at Barcelona's European record against English clubs. It is now just 1 loss in their last 12 meetings with English sides in the Champions League. Furthermore, Barcelona have lost just 1 of their 30 European home games against English clubs. That solitary defeat was a one-goal win for Liverpool in the 2006/07 campaign. The small seed of hope that Mauricio Pochettino's side can take into this game is that it was only 11th November when Barcelona were last beaten at home and that was a 4-3 loss to Real Betis in La Liga. It is also true that Tottenham have never lost a game on the final round of group stage games in the Champions League. You might also want to place a cheeky anytime scorer bet on Harry Kane because the striker has bagged 7 goals in 7 Champions League matches. I would love to see Tottenham pull this off. Unfortunately, I think they might have left themselves with too much work to do. The damage was done in the first three group games where they lost 2 and drew 1 of their games. It's a mammoth task. I am a hopeless football romantic though. The form Tottenham are in they stand a chance and that's enough to go into this game. I've witnessed bigger miracles happen in football before. Barcelona are likely to rest players and Tottenham are irresistible right now. Screw it, I'm backing Tottenham Draw No Bet! Let's do this Tottenham!!! Carovie
no no Dr0, Liverpool needs to win 2-0 to advance and I am not sure if a 3-1 or 4-2 is enough for them, but what is sure, is that they need to win by two goals of margin and 2-0 is enough, but I don't know the other scores
Grass Cash
No I don’t think Napoli is the favorite it’s just a shot that I may take a chance on in a combination with another high odds. Grass Cash
Total Stake 1 unit = 100%, Sportsbook: William Hill PSV Eindhoven +1.5 goal @1.83 vs Inter Milan 60% PSV Eindhoven @8.95 vs Inter MIlan 35% Napoli 4.9, Porto 3.35, Schalke 2.0(parlay around 30/1) 5% Eindhoven has potent striker, and other scoring potential. Inter Milan is a good side, but they have struggled to score a single goal in their last two outings against very good competition. But, nonetheless.. I can see them struggling to score goals once again, and envision PSV to score 1-2 goals minimum, and try to have a good performance to end their Champions League campaign as they have not finished with a great result yet out of the first 5 games in a very difficult group. I believe that they will have alot of confidence coming into this match in form, and scoring goals for fun with a 6-0 thrashing in their last dutch league match. EuroDream
Here is my take on the last round...and my CL parlay... Barcelona - Tottenham OVER 2.5 goals @1.5 local Since Suarez is back in the team Messi seems also interested to play actively, they won against Espanyol with ease and Espanyol is having a good season. Since Espanyol managed to create 15(4) chances in that game so should Tottenham if not more. The thing is Barcelona can score 4 goals themselves but since Tottenham will be determined to win I doubt they will let them score as much as they did to Espanyol. True Tottenham got 4 goals at Arsenal what also goes into our favor and I believe they will score at least once here. Imo the most probable outcome is 2:2. I watched Barcelona - Villareal game and it was completely false Barca, and Villareal had few chances to score even though they also seemed like they didn't even try to win...they played just to finish the game, Messi unmotivated, Barca holding the ball for long time, slow passes etc. against Espanyol is the Barcelona I believe we will see against Tottenham. So for those looking for higher odds I believe OVER 3.5 goals is @2.3 ...Who knows maybe Tottenham somehow will win this and pass the group...and Inter can surprise us with bad performance since PSV will be playing attacking Dutch football I would not touch that game. Inter lost 4:1 at Atalanta, the team that somehow lost to poor Sarajevo at the start of EL campaign. Monaco - Dortmund AWAY WIN @1.7 local These teams are on opposite sides in term of their shape so this seems logical. Monaco got some points in last round of French championship but it is all hardly won against weak team. Dortmund on other hand plays nice football and they have beaten another CL team Schalke in the last round of Bundesliga. Schalke is not that bad at all. I doubt Dortmund will calculate here and they will go for a win to try get the first spot in the group and I doubt Monaco will play defensive style football what should fit well to Germans. I like this game more than Atletico to win in Belgium. Most likely outcome 0:2. Dortmund -1.5 is @2.8 Liverpool - Napoli HOME WIN @1.65 local Nice match up in this one and it might be tricky to play this bet since both teams can score but I think the final result could look as if it was an easy job. Liverpool at home is always a favorite, they will dominate the game, opposite of what it was in Italy. And Napoli is not really a defending team so I believe Liverpool will score at least two goals in this game. Tricky to predict the final result but I would go for 2:1. Liverpool is really lucky to have this last game at Anfield since they are poor away from home this season in CL. I am also picking this bet since Liverpool are legendary club in this competition while Napoli if I am right never got further in CL from Group stage. Ancelotti imo is just a sham. Parlay: Barcelona - Tottenham over 2.5 @1.5 Monaco - Dortmund Away Win @1.7 Liverpool - Napoli Home Win @1.65 Crvena Zvezda - PSG Away Win @1.2 Combined Odd @5.1 GL y'all! betcatalog
Liverpool - Napoli, as it is judged which of the two teams will advance to the next phase of the Champions League. Only the victory serves the Clop's team, while Napoli goes through a tie. It is such a profile of the two teams that makes us expect how and how the show, since they have to give a lot and will do everything to qualify. Not that Napoli is inferior to Liverpool, but the bad lies, "Anfield" is unique and may push the "red" to the next stage LIVERPOOL FC vs SSC NAPOLI @@ LIVERPOOL FC, odds 1.62 Monaco is indifferent, she has no hope of qualifying, she will give weight to her championship. Carovie
Thanks for all your comments and recomendations What make me doubt with Dortmund and their intention of get first place, is that their last match at home, they made a bad match, they couldnot win to Brugge and this was their biggest step to finish in first place
Grass Cash
Adding to previous card which contains 3 bets already. Crvena Zvezda @ odds 17 Vs PSG with 5dimes (.10 unit) Total 4 bets risked 1.10 unit Anything can happen in these matches as we have already seen once against Liverpool, and this odds is not really accurate because the fans will want to be happy, and have a very capable team and strategy to win a game at home. Very interesting the price difference on these books when you have large differences in payouts. 5dimes is usually the best odds of any book, or close to it. I have seen bigger odds elsewhere from time time, but they are quite fair and generous with the offerings. StevieDay1983
