In the opening race Acey Milan who was 4th in the Champion bumper last season continues his education over hurdles. He was a disappointing beaten favourite on his debut at Ffos Las but that was in heavy ground and the yards horses often come on for a run. He's a short price but should make short work of these and then possibly step up in class. He's 40/1 for the Ballymore Hurdle in March with bet365. Kalashnikov won at Warwick on his chase debut 24 days ago and apart from a couple of novicey errors he made a decent start to his new career. He comes in here for a £60,000 bonus that Plumpton offers for anyone winning at the track and then going on to win at Cheltenham.
