Backtesting a system

Hi All

I have a few systems that i've developed and currently testing which seem to be working well at present but was wondering if there is a way I can backtest them. i.e a software or service that can generate historical data based on my parameters to see if profit or loss was achieved. 

Any help here would be much appreciated

I back test my systems on Horse Race Base, i'm not sure if they are taking anymore new members at the minute but they have a system builder etc.... and backtest over 10 years if you want.
Its about £10 a month.

We have a few stat guys on here so they may come up with some other places to look at.

As @BillyHillssays HRB only take on new members every blue moon , you have to put your name on a waiting list.

BETWISE supplies the data in SQL only
£135 for 10yrs data
Updated monthly for £45 if required

FLATSTATS provide a downloadable racing CSV database & and systems checker similar to HRB costs around £270 yr , you can subscribe for a few days for about a £5 and use the systems checker but I dont think you can download any data .

SIMPLE SOFTWARE have a database going back to 1993 for around £10 a month , there rating system is based on The Solidus by Davey Towey

JADWIZ RACING is around £50 a year and database can be downloaded to your own applications or Excel/Access etc , the website is still there but I dont know if the database is still available as I emailed them around 3 month ago and got no reply.

I think thats about the lot off the top of my head, there are other specialist providers mainly for live website integration etc but those cost a fortune .

There is a rudimentary system builder at Adrian Masseys site http://adrianmassey.no-ip.org it's titled Favourite Analysis but will cover anything you want. And it's free!!
