Nantes vs Angers

Ligue 1 throws up a game this weekend which seems too good to be true in terms of value. The game is a mid-table clash between Nantes and Angers at the Stade de la Beaujoire-Louis Fonteneau in a 7pm kick-off this Saturday evening and it's mystifying how the home side aren't more solid favourites.

Nantes are in 10th place in Ligue 1 and are currently on a run of 3 wins and 1 draw. It means that Vahid Halilhodzic's side are now a team firmly in the ascendancy as they look to put a disappointing 18 months behind them. A win here could see them move up the table to begin challenging for the European qualification spots.

Angers had started the season well but reality is now biting for Stephane Moulin's players. The club is 13th in Ligue 1 just 1 point behind Nantes. However, before their win in their last league game it was 5 league games without a win. How much confidence with the 1-0 victory over Montpellier generate for the visitors here?
