BillyHills
Hungarian GP Hot on the heels of a very dramatic German GP we shoot off to the Hungaroring Circuit this weekend for 34th Hungarian Grand Prix. Last year Sebastian Vettel won the race, the first time Ferrari had triumphed in many years. McLaren used to be the masters around this track but in more recent years we have seen a split between Red Bull and Mercedes. Red Bull had a nightmare 12 months ago when Max Verstappen took out team mate Daniel Ricciardo on the first lap causing a Safety Car for the third time in four years. Mercedes have stressed this is not of their best tracks and expect to have to fight for every point so it may be prudent to follow Red Bull this week? It's 8/11 for another SC this year and that is very tempting and much bigger than in recent weeks. Reliability is pretty good around here lately, we only had one retirement in 2016 and last year we had 3 which included Ricciardo who was wiped out by Verstappen, Grosjean who had a loose wheel nut and we lost reserve driver Paul Di Resta with an oil leek. Over 15.5 drivers to finish at 4/6 once again looks the most solid option at bet365. Outright Stats
BillyHills
Hungarian GP After yesterdays washout during qualifying we have a dry day forecast at the Hungaroring which will make this an interesting race. No doubt Ferrari had been the quickest car in dry conditions and now find themselves behind the two wet loving Mercs. It certainly equalised the sides and gives us a much better spectacle and betting market than anticipated. The other big story was the poor showing of Red Bull, they completely mucked up Ricciardo's qualy and starts 12th while Max Verstappen was very disappointed with his 'trouble free' 7th. I still think they will both finish in the Top 6 but winning is beyond them this week. If you are looking for a banker then 1/2 for both Red Bulls to score points at bet365 is worth considering. Lewis Hamilton is 11/10 to lead all the way with Paddy Power (Vettel 7/4), thats a decent price for a pole sitter and when you think the front row has won 7 of the last 11 races it quite an advantage. Personally I think Vettel has the quickest car but he is making plenty of errors at the minute and he's too short for someone starting 4th on the grid. Over 15.5 drivers to finish at 4/6 is still the way to go especially as its almost certain to be a dry race and for an outside bet this week i would probably risk a small bet on Verstappen to reach the podium at a big looking 5/2 with Coral. Bets: Hamilton outright 11/10 PP Red Bull Points Finish 1/2 bet365 Over 15.5 Finishers 4/6 bet365 Verstappen Podium 5/2 Coral
