Golden Steps...from Jim Goldie yard who had two marked in for this race but Oriental Lilly is non runner so Jim sends only one down from Uplawmoor in Central Scotland (406 miles) to try and retain his trophy as Jack Dexter won this last year off 87 . He only came to yard this April from Jamie Osborne yard , First race for new yard was over 5f then Jim gave him five runs over 6f and 7f before a prep race over 5f at Ayr,

Golden Steps carries the same weight as Jack Dexter and he's a year younger and won four times from 6f to 7f on good to firm and good ground for Jamie Osborne yard, although last win was over two years ago I wouldn't put it past Jim to have this ready and spring a surprise as Jim ran him 18 days ago at Ayr 5f GF beaten 2.5 lengths he's off 82 and Jamie Gormley claiming 3lbs off
