Cracking day...

With one last race to run @ 16:30 I'm 6.5pts up. Makes a grand total of 32.75pts for the week (5 days). Bloody lovely!

So ends my little experiment here on PL. I'm going to continue with this system, as I can honestly say I've never had such a good result from my selections. 10pts per week yes. Sometimes 20pts if a long shot dropped in... but never 32pts. Even if the big one didn't drop (the 10/1 winner), it's still a healthy profit. So I'm over the moon right now.

I'll be using Excel from now on, though. OpenOffice made me think I was going round the twist. Entering "LOST" in the spreadsheet was coming up "RESULT" :@ Sorry if I confused anyone. Every day has been profitable, though :)

I'm hitting all of them with a Level Stakes approach, and I might switch that up... the 75/25 sounds good. I'll throw that at a (working) spreadsheet and see if it looks good.

Next week I'm dumping a couple of hundred quid into this and having a proper run at it until I go on my jollies :)

Was going to continue posting, but I'm taking on a few new contracts and can't really spare the time through the day. Already on my phone most of the day watching the races haha!

The system is relatively simple to use, so I'm sure people will be able to pick these out themselves. The only sites I'm using are Oddschecker, AtTheRaces, and PaddyPower to spot the selections... then backing them before 10am (where possible). Sometimes I get the selections done by 9:45am, and there might be one or two that are starting to come in - so I add them on.

Best of luck with the move. I hate moving house..

Just done some fag packet maths, and I see that there's limited risk using that method, but also limited gain. Not a bad thing to do when bank building, certainly...

75/25 Method:

Looks like the Fast Results on Sporting Life have scuppered me too hahaha

I've had winners I didn't even know I had!! So the first half of the week, when I was paper betting, I never even saw the winners I should have had... 

Anyway... I give up on OpenOffice and SportingLife.com too :)

UPDATE!

I'm shit at spreadsheets AND reading it turns out. I rushed through the checking of which horses PLACED when it was a WIN bet. The links I clicked through to SL were the racecards on a couple :D:D haha

So... all updated. Thanks for not taking the piss or telling me I'm a complete fool :)

Thankfully I can pick horses better than I can do admin, eh?
