Some decent games around this weekend in both divisions.

Waterford got back to winning ways last week at home to Bray after defeats to St Pats and Derry on their travels. This weekend Waterford host Sligo Rovers and should be good value to uphold their 100% record at home, 6 wins, scoring 12 conceding 3.

Sligo have an ok record away from home, playing 5 - 2-1-2 scoring 6 conceding 6. Their two wins came against Limerick and Bray both on a 2-1 scoreline.

Going to go with Waterford to win and over 1.5 goals @ 13\10   

In the first division top of the Division UCD have lost one game, away to 2nd placed Drogheda. UCD are at home to Wexford who do not travel well. The students have played four games at home, winning 3 drawing 1 with a goal record of for: 9 against 5. Wexford have played four away from home winning one against Cabinteely although they have leaked 8 goals in the other 3. With that in mind I am going to go with UCD to score in both halves @ 21\20.

For the weekend in the Premier Division :

Derry are away to bottom club Bray Wanderers and I fancy them to take all the points on their travels. They have an away record of P7 W3 D1 L3, unbeaten in their last three. Derry to win and total goals > 1.5 goals @ 8\13  

Meanwhile in Cork, City host neighbours Limerick. City have not dropped a point at home in 6 games and also have not conceded a goal while Limerick (who are unbeaten in their last 3) have conceded 15 goals away from home so we should see goals. Cork City to win and total goals > 1.5 @ 4\11   

5 Point Win pays just over 11 Pts.

In the first Division Galway travel to the whipping boys Athlone. Athlone lost their manager during the week so things could get worse. Athlones only point this season has come at home but they have conceded 10 goals. Galway on the other hand surprisingly have not won away from home this season but that should come to an end tonight. Galway at half time @ 4\7 

Most of the other games in this division are close affairs. 

I fancy Drogheda to get something from their travels to Finn Harps. Harps have played three games at home winning 2 drawing 1. Drogheda have played three away games, winning 2 losing 1 but they have scored 15 goals in those 3 games. Drogheda +1 @ 8\15

Couldn't get around to posting here the last few weeks but alas

Premier Division:

Gonna a go with the obvious this week, the top two Dundalk and City.

Dundalk host bottom club Bray and their records at home and away respectively are totally opposite. Dundalk P10 W8 D2 while Bray are P10 D1 L9 and they have also conceded 30 goals. Found it hard to get a value bet but eventually went for Goal In each Half @ 4\11.

Just down the road from Dundalk at Richmond Park Cork City play St Patricks Athletic. Pats are on a good run at the moment, even though they lost to Shamrock Rovers last week, they had been on a four run winning streak. City won at Inchicore in Pats first home game 2-0 but Pats have gone unbeaten since at home P8 W6 D2. City are currently on a four game unbeaten run and I think they can continue that this evening and will take the 7\10 on City to win either half. 

5 Pt Double pays 11.59

In the First Division the double will involve UCD and Finn Harps.

UCD are top of the table and they also boast the best away record in the division. They travel to Cabinteely who have lost three of their last four games, all by a one goal margin. UCD have lost two games away from home both to the 2nd and 3rd placed teams but have won 4 of the other 5. In a tight game I will go with UCD @ 8\11. 

Finn Harps make the long journey to Wexford. Harps were surprisingly beaten at home by Cobh last week and also dropped points away to Shelbourne previously. They should get back to winning ways at Wexford who have taken 4 Points from their last 12 games (36), drawing with Cobh 1-1 and hammering Athlone (who wouldn't) 7-0. Harps to win @ 11\20.
