I recall BillyH saying on another thread to avoid claimers, sellers, 2yo, etc. and I wonder if removing those types of races would be another boost to profits.

I have no idea, i have given up trying to find the best way round it and just back them at the best tracks.

The way i select the horses without giving all my secrets away (lol) is based on current form and class.
2yo races have a lot of debutants in them as do Novice Hurdles so I cant consider them hence I miss a fair few winners, I dont do breeding etc.. or just back trainers blindly that have first time out runners.
The only way i would consider a fto horse is if the standard of the form on show has not reached a certain level.  My remit is to pick a horse in every race otherwise i would move on to be honest.

Sellers and Claimers are very inconsistent by the very nature of the runners, often disappointing sorts dropping down in grade. I end up for some reason being on a large % of favourites in these races and the strike rate is poor.

Bumper races are a nightmare too, try and avoid them if you can or just back Willie Mullins blind when in Ireland.

Cheers for the extra info. Is it Kempton, Chelmsford and Newcastle to retain for the AW?

Actually kept Kempton, Chelmsford and Wolves. Newcastle was 4th on the AW list until recently.
