Plymouth vs Blackburn

One team that have been rewarding my faith in them over recent weeks is Blackburn. Tony Mowbray's side are 2nd in League One after a fine run of results that has seen them go undefeated in 18 league matches including 10 wins from their last 14 league games. That last defeat coming in a 1-0 loss away to Oldham. Impressively, Blackburn have taken 28 points from a possible 42 on the road.

Plymouth are their hosts here and it's been a difficult season for the Pilgrims so far. Derek Adams side endured an awful start to the season losing 9 of their first 12 matches. Their form has improved since 7th October but they remain in 13th place. It is still an improvement on the early doom and gloom predicted.

The down side for the home team is that they have only won 6 of their 15 games at home. One defeat in their last 10 league games will give them confidence going into this game but Blackburn should have enough to squeeze out a narrow win to continue their rampant march to what seems like an inevitable return to the Championship.

Rotherham vs AFC Wimbledon

It might be easy to look at the statistics on paper and wonder how Rotherham are valued so high to win at home against a side that are in the lower half of the table. However, if you watched any of AFC Wimbledon's past few matches you will see they are a team that are brimming with confidence and manager Neal Ardley will undoubtedly be happy with the progress they are making after a slow start to the season.

The Millers are sitting in 6th place with three wins from their last five matches and three wins from their last four home games. Automatic promotion might realistically be slipping away with Wigan, Blackburn, and Shrewsbury pulling away but this is a side that wants a return to the Championship asap. AFC Wimbledon are in 16th place and just 4 points outside the relegation zone but they have won three of their last four league games.

Paul Warne's side have one of the best home records in the division scoring an incredible 31 goals at the New York Stadium this season. AFC Wimbledon are not too bad on the road. They have taken something from 8 of their 14 away games. However, they will need to be at their best to avoid defeat here. It should be an exciting game but Rotherham should have too much for the real Dons.

Coventry travel to Forest Green tomorrow hoping to overturn the 1-0 home loss earlier in the season. We have won 8 games out of 10 in all competitions so come into the game as the form side, Forest Green have lost 8 out of their last 10 games. Forest Green had a very busy transfer window so hopefully for us their team takes a bit more time to gel together!  We had a decent deadline day. Selling Ben Stevenson (who is 4th choice centre midfielder) to Wolves and getting Jonson Clarke-Harris on loan gives us another physical option up top. Looks like we've got cover all over the park. A win would be massive here with a tough run of games coming up against teams around us (Accrington, Colchester, Mansfield, Wycombe, Lincoln and a Luton game to re-arrange in amongst that).

MANSFIELD (1.66) - On form attacking side should see off the basement club Barnet at home and keep their promotion push on track.

NOTTS COUNTY (1.66) - Big game for Notts County who haven't won in 4 league games. But i'd fancy them to beat Crewe at home and get back on track. Crewe concede a lot of goals.

+1.6 or so. Caught a big break with the late Oxford winner, but then somehow managed to lose the draw at Wycombe...two short-handed goals after the 93'.
