Great sensations for the team, and despite the defeat against Morelia in Copa MX, the team was able to hold them in what that could have been easily a huge margin defeat. The team needs to improve in defense against Liga MX teams if they expect to be able to proceed in Copa MX. For Ascenso MX level the team should confirm their good start on this match. The objective of the team is to repeat the title and obtain direct promotion to Liga MX (if they fulfill the administrative requirements Liga MX has uphold), for that the team let some players go and obtain players with more experience, but the base remains, a move that until now has been the right one as the last results have shown that. Remarks that they did not allowed a single goal from Cruz Azul or San Luis, and at home they are keen to keep this like that. Correcaminos UAT After last season, where the team fall in the quarter finals against Celaya by a draw in the overall score, but thanks to Celaya being top of the league kicking them out. This season the team has not yet seen a victory, with a home defeat against Dorados on the opener and then a scoreless draw against Leones Negros, which not exactly the best opposition, as both did not qualify for playoffs last season. Still the team has showed they are focus on changing things as they have only allowed one goal, still they have yet to score, which is alarming, as last season they where able to so, and only where unable to score in 5 of 19 matches, thats they where able to score in 74% of the matches. Alebrijes Oaxaca Last season the team fare better in home than away, but was able to clinch a place for playoffs where they went on to claim the title. And despite champions teams having difficult at the start of the following season, for Alebrijes this is far from true, as they have won their first three matches, two in Ascenso MX and the Copa MX clash against Cruz Azul. They have not allowed a single goal, and have show offensive power on all of them. Great sensations and a great form that will motivate them to continue in that tendency. This match on away will be another important test, they where able to overcome their visit to San Luis, is yet to see if they will take this one, as their last visit they carry a defeat 2-1. The arrival of Pedro Arce from Paraguay has been very beneficial to the team, as he has scored in last two matches at home, due to the playmaking of the team he has not played in last two away matches. Dorados Despite their bad performance in Copa MX, where they where eliminated last midweek losing 0-1 at home to Correcaminos, their form in Ascenso MX has them on the top five of Ascenso MX, still it has to be remark that is a very irregular form, mixing defeats together with victories and the casual draw. Therefore a lot of pressure, or they will have to dispute matches knowing that there will be nothing in them. The team performance is also better away than at home, with four victories against there at home. Still a good performance that have them at the top of the league, looking to get to the first position. Their recent results go against the latter, as their away match was a defeat against Atletico Zacatepec by a lone goal, meanwhile at home the team has three matches winning, after the opener opening this season with a streak of two consecutive defeats, which if considering Copa MX goes to four matches at home losing, still the have worked hard and change things around and now they have a good recent form at home. Which they will be pleased to come back to ace this match. Previous to last defeat, the team had accumulated six matches without losing in Liga de Ascenso, therefore that defeat come as a reminder to keep the focus. Celaya At away Celaya has just one victory this year in Ascenso MX, and one in Copa MX, where the team was kickoff two weeks ago by losing 4-1 to Leon and being eliminated, so now with only Ascenso MX to focus went home and make it count as they won 2-0 to Ascenso MX leader Mineros Zacatecas to provide them with a good boost for the competition. The team climb to fifth position and nows they need to continue focus on that as they are just 3 points above the 11th place.
