Hi guys, I'm Back ?

This time I am going to choose selections from my pick of the PUNTERS LOUNGE tips.  This is so as not to replicate my own selections which I will still be posting up on my own thread.  I won't be able to do it every day and will start with a zero balance.  I will never back any horse each way, I would rather back two horses to win.

Today's selections:

3.00 Sou Hassab 6/4

4.10 Kelso Crixus's Escape 6/4

4.30 Sou Fizzlestix 11/4

One £1.25 win Trixie = £5.00 possible return £60.55 and three £5.00 win bets (BOG)

= £20 outlay

My pick of the PUNTERS LOUNGE tips.  I like the idea of making use of PL tips and the key part is to offer just a few selections from all the races in an effort to make a profit in the long run.  I am hoping that some of my other fellow PL tipsters will participate in this idea as I am sure that they have very much to offer.  I am also doing this so as to avoid replicating my own selections (where possible) which I will still be posting up on my own thread.  I won't be able to do it every day.  I will never back any horse each way, I would rather back two horses to win.

Very few races for me to choose from today as I don’t like backing really short priced favourites.

Today's selections:

3.10 Weth Lady Master  £5 win at 5/2 with Bet365 (had a problem with a 7lbs rise last time; I would love to know the mechanics of working out why this will not occur in today’s race?)

3.45 Weth Half Bolley  £5 win at 10/1 with Bet 365 (steady in the market overnight )

5.25 Weth Glencassley £10 win at 2/1 with Bet 365 (very well supported overnight in the markets)

= £20 staked

Results update:

A good start with two winners 6/4 and 13/8.  Therefore a £20 outlay with an £8.20 for the double and £12.50 and £13.12 for the win bets = £33.82 therefore a £13.82 profit on the day

Balance B/Fwd = £0.00 add £13.82 = £13.82 C/Fwd

“When placing a bet on a selection, never take SP and, always bear in mind that to make a profit, in the long run, the WINNERS have to pay for the LOSERS.”  Always remember that if every favourite won the bookies would go out of business so don’t be afraid to oppose them.

ALL UK RACING STOPPED UNTIL 1.5.20

Glencassley won at 9/4F = a return of £32.50, less £20 outlay = £12.50 profit on the day

Balance B/Fwd = £13.82 add £12.50 = £26.32 C/Fwd

Very well done.  I think you beat me and Mclarke today; please advise on your returns? Great EW tipping

The expression "more haste, less speed" springs to mind! My mistake was putting my NAP Ned Stark in my trixie (only paying 2 places and there was always the risk the old fella would not be quite fit enough even in a race full of out of form horses!) and not Menapian like i had in my actual trixie. So for the £20 challenge just £18 for a place on my single bet (-£2) but £90 in real life and also had Ned Stark in a win double with Forrard Away, so as you can imagine come the last two fences, i got a bit excited but hey...that's racing!!!

I think I'll carry on posting in here if the Irish racing gets the go ahead (they're meeting this afternoon to decide)

But I can't get into the South African and Hong Kong stuff so if Ireland is off I'll just take a break !

well done Equaliser and LeMale on your efforts lately !

Many thanks Trotter;  I am not going to post up here again until UK Racing resumes;  I can't seem to find enough information to go on even for Irish Racing so I'd rather give it all a miss for a while.  I may even dig out my old roulette details to see if I can overcome the casino's edge.  Whatever ever you do I wish good luck and more importantly good health.  And that goes for for all my PL contacts ☺️

Horse Racing Ireland have confirmed that racing will continue till further notice. No evening meetings Dundalk will move to afternoon and wherever there was two meetings they will move one to another day to free up ambulances.

The opening Flat meeting at Naas on Sunday has been moved to Monday under the one meeting per day protocol

That's quite good really .... it means we have racing on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday .......

and I've got Racing TV so I'll have some sport to watch for 4 days ....... maybe ITV will show some of the Irish meetings on ITV4 ?

@The Equaliser You should make use of the time off to look into Irish Racing ...... look at the amount of winners you missed out on at Cheltenham.
