cheers .....  I've called it a cross double for years if it's two horses in two races so 4 doubles in all

Hi Trotter,no worries mate and again well done.Just wondered as 4 horses in crossed doubles is 12 bets and as it happened a favourite of my grandads i.e crossed stakes.I do both now and again but a lot of punters do not seem to realise your 2 x 2 double i.e 2 selections in 2 races is possible to do and as your bet today proved can be lucrative.Someting I do if I fancy one in two races but fear another.

I think your probably right in that the bet I do is not a cross double

I've googled 'cross double' and it looks a bit too complicated for me .............. ?

I'll just call them doubles if i remember !

To be honest in my 30 odd years of betting I've never understand these sort of bets where it's up and down and round and about and 'if this, then that'

I'm a 'try and find a winner and back it' kind of chap .........

D'ont worry mate,i don't think many could work out these cross stakes bets,they can be lucrative but you have to rely on the prices to make it so,short prices are a disaster.

Well I'm not .............. because I wouldn't bet 20 quid on one race !

I sometimes do this bet for smaller stakes .... obviously yoiu just select two horses in one race and two horses in another one and the bet options will come up and put your stake in and select 4 doubles ....... 

If the site doesn't offer 4 doubles as an option just do each double separately

race 2 - C and D

the 4 doubles are 

AC, AD, BC, BD

you can't have AB or CD as a double becaiuse the two horses are in the same race !
