LIKE2FISH Posted December 22, 2017 Share Posted December 22, 2017 Ladbrokes Coral agree £4 billion takeover by GVC We recap some stories you may have missed including a win for the Poker Brat and Molly's Game about to hit the big screen. £4 billion merger Back in 2015 UK betting operators Ladbrokes and Coral, who both have skins on the iPoker network, agreed a £2.3 billion merger. Today they have announced that a £4 billion takeover by GVC has been agreed. GVC Holdings own a number of gaming brands but most relevant for poker is that they own partypoker, who this year have made waves both with their live tour and online offerings. The deal is expected to save the combined company £100 million a year in operating costs and will combine Ladbrokes Coral's sports betting reach with GVC's other gaming offerings.
