StevieDay1983
Atletico Madrid were the only team to capitalise on the title contenders all slipping up this weekend. Barcelona and Real Madrid both drew whilst Valencia suffered an unexpected defeat. That certainly threw a few spanners in amongst the betting! Let's hope for some more consistency this weekend! What tips are you guys backing here then? Pep004
More short previews and missing players for all matches of TOP5 leagues on: footalyct.com Valencia vs Celta Vigo; 20:45 Valencia will miss injured defenders Garay, Murillo and winger Guedes. Celta is coming without defender Gomez and suspended midfielder Jozabed. Short preview: Valencia is still holding 2nd position, but they lost important 3 points in Getafe last round. It's notable that Guedes has a big impact on this team and as he is out injured, Los Che have some problems in offensive. Still, they are flying high and I think that as they finally have an excellent manager, they currently deserves to be in top 3 in Spain. They have strong midfield with Kondogbia and Parejo, forwards in form and pretty good support from defence. Celta is perfect opponent for stealing points on matches like this, but odds for that are too short this time. They did it against Barcelona and usually teams taking points to giants are having some bad results after it. Last season for example they won against Barça 4-3 and in next match they were trashed by Villarreal 5-0. I am not expecting Valencia crashing them totally, but I do expect a home win here. Pep004
Spain, La Liga Santander Espanyol vs Girona; 21:00 Espanyol will miss defenders Lopez and Naldo, midfielder Diop and forward Garcia. Girona is coming without defenders Muniesa, Espinosa, Alcala and forward Kayode. Short preview: With three defenders unavailable, Girona will have only two "true" central defenders available and even one of those two haven't played a lot this season. That means that if Girona want's to get anything out of the derby, they will have to score, maybe more than just once. I don't like to go with a straight win of Espanyol as they are in pretty poor form, especially offensively - scoring only 11 goals in 14 rounds. I expect that to change, and Girona with problems in defensive line is good opponent for that. Still, they have Portu and Stuani in attack and those two players scored one goal more than whole team of Espanyol this season! Even though it might be a tough match, both teams wanting something out of the clash, I think that chances of goals are a bit underrated in this match, so I fancy over 2,5 goals at odds around 2,20!
