Naps Competition - Sunday Dec 3rd

330 Carlisle

Forest Des Aigles 5/2 PP

I quite like the look of the favourite in the last race at Carlisle on Sunday, Forest Des Aigles did nothing after he came over from France and obviously took time to settle in. Back in May he showed his first signs of form when 3rd at Kelso and then returned there to win in heavy ground off 109. A decent third at Ayr followed and showed the benefit of another break when winning at Hexham on his seasonal debut.
Now returns after two months off and looks to be still improving to me, he's only six and looks a progressive sort and thsi race wont take much winning.

Carlilse 3:00 Too Many Chiefs @ 9/2 bet365 win thanks

Too Many Chiefs....from Sharon Watt yard and they keep it in the family as the good Major E J Watt is the owner of this 6yo has won three hurdle races from 2m 4f to 3m on good and heavy ground, He was runner-up to Buckled at Kelso in October over 2m 6f good but 18 days ago at Ayr over todays distance 3m 1/2f heavy he won by 4 lengths and is up against a lot of what he beat that day ,

He's runs off 110 today 5lb up but is carrying 2lbs less at 10st 9lb with Finian O'Toole is still getting 5lb allowance that he got at Ayr

The closing race is a wide open handicap that any number of the 15 runners could win, but Sir Paddy Brennan makes the journey for just the two rides and waits around after Race 1 till the last, he's not the type of horseman to be doing that for the sake of killing time.
