Saint R
Thought Boric ran really well in defeat today in the 3:10 at Sedgefield and will be following it in races over 3 miles. Any reason why it can't compete in the national?
Striker
Has to improve to even get into the Grand National As these days rating of 140 + needed to even get a run, and your horse was rated 123 at Sedgefield. Is unexposed though over marathon distances, and has won a Highland National Saint R

BillyHills
You haven't got many to follow Striker?? Thought this was going to be like a list of horses to follow for the season. Must have got it wrong having looked at your 2yo's to follow thread. There was only one horse in that thread too.

Striker
Reappears tomorrow [3.00 Ascot] over the same CD Hot race, and long term target looks to be the National, but should still go well. The 15-2 with Paddy Power each way, 4 places [1/5] seems the best play
Striker
All was going well in the lead till almost falling at the 14th. Jockey should have pulled up, but carried on and the horse then did fall 3 out

Fully expected him to be pulled up after that mistake and wondered why the jockey hadn’t. Just hope that hasn’t hindered him in the long term in any way confidence wise. Maybe it isn’t a bad thing if the National is the long term plan? Mark will more than likely remain unaltered at 151 and will definitely get a run based on that. Currently 50/1 for National... Striker
Go Conquer has been given a nice weight for the Grand National [10-10] To me the only doubt now is his stamina, but think the current BOG 50-1 and NRNB with Bet 365 [5 places] is worth risking a couple of quid on each way.
