The odds and ratings for this coming weekend's Serie A matches are available. I'm posting them up now so those of you that fancy a bit of chat early doors can get involved. It all looks run-of-the-mill this week. After a positive week last week I'm hoping to make some more profit during midweek and continue that run here.

Crotone V Benevento

X @ 3.5 William Hill

These two sides face off in Serie A’s basement battle this weekend and it’s hard to pick a winner here.

We’ve got two teams that lack cutting edge, play similar systems and ELO difference is only 3.50 over last 2 games.

I’ll admit it’s an unpredictable game but the dynamics are balanced and the odds for a stalemate are strangely inflated so X seems to be the value play here.

Sassuolo V Bologna

X @ 3.4 William Hill

After a rocky start, Sassuolo are starting to find their feet under Cristian Bucchi and I feel Bologna have been playing to a similar level in recent matches.

Both teams have energy and create chances but both struggle to convert those chances. The similarity between the teams is highlighted in the ELO ratings with just a 4.50 difference over the last 2 games.

Another unpredictable match but again we see balanced dynamics and inflated odds for a stalemate. X looks to have some value in my view.

Word of warning to those thinking about backing Lazio on a minus handicap today: de Vrij, Wallace, Basta, Bastos, Milinkovic-Savic, Nani and Felipe Anderson are all unavailable due to massive injury crisis.

Maybe they'll end up getting a good result but they look short in this situation @ 1.61 - make this kind of play a thousand times over and there probably wont be a pot of gold waiting for you at the end of the rainbow.
